My stylist recommended this when I first got layers cut into my hair (I was a late bloomer). This is a great product for a beginner like me, although 'don't apply it directly to your head' should be written on it somewhere. Just a tiny bit warmed between the fingers works wonders on layers and fringe. I'm now growing out fringe and couldn't live a day without this. It also lasts all day, no need to carry it around. I bought this product when I got a new hairdo that flips up at the ends. Instead of having the rolls at the end, this gives nice definition and lets me have a bit of a funkier do.
