this hairspray holds my hair style all day (after more then 12 hours) and does not flake. I do not feel that it is drying either. This was one of my first hairsprays in middle school!!! It worked so well in keeping my hair held back since I would play sports and would wear a ponytail. The only reason I can't use this anymore is I have a weird reaction to my hair. When I spray it, it flaked on me. Maybe the formula changed.
