Does the job but pulls hair.

My 5-year old Ceramic Tools broke a few days ago and I wanted to quickly replace it, so I bought this Rusk straightener (1 1/2" model) from a nearby drugstore. I was greatly disappointed. It did an OK job at straightening my hair, but it included much pulling in the process. The plates were not gliding smoothly on my hair and hair got stuck in the corners of the plates. On top of that, it smelled really bad after heating up...
