I had this in a pinky-nude color..

I had to apply three coats to get it opaque. Fewer coats left it streaky. The formula is a little goopy and it chips. I don't repurchase.

Sally Hansen could do better....

I was really disappointed with this polish. I bought it in clear to use in between manis (I am a girl on a budget) and I thought it was overpriced and not as effective as other polishes. I have to re-do my nails every 5-7 days, really every 5 days but it depends on how much time I have that week! The polish chips and peels on me. For how much more expensive it was than just a regular clear polish,...read more I would hope for 10-14 days of wear, before I would need to re-polish. I would suggest trying other polishes first. It also tends to peel away around the exterior of the nail, which looks bad. At first I thought it was because maybe I was using too much, but it doesn't get like that until days 5-7. The consistency of the polish was good and there was no yellowing. I do wish it would have been shinier though. It is shiny the first day, but it goes dull after day 3 or so. I also noticed that lotion would make the polish dull. Especially if I am applying cuticle cream to my nail bed.

Amazing!

This product is really great! Does much more than I expected. It stays on really well all week even if I don't use a base and top coat, just 2 coats of this nail polish; and I find it really amazing for enamel type of polish which typically isn't very strong. Note that I do a fair bit of housework (washing, cleaning, cooking). I had some split nails which I'd normally cut off, but with this polish...read more I got rid of that, and now have naturally long and strong nails. When I wear this nail polish I get lots of compliments on my nails, people say my manicure looks very professional. The price of the product is very reasonable, around 5$, totally worth it. The only con with this product is that it takes quite a long time to dry, but it is still worth it, cause then you don't have to worry about your manicure all week and get really pretty nails. Will definitely buy again and in different colors!

ehh...

This is alright, I bought one color called "heartbeat frost" its a nice red color, but I wont be getting anymore. I have an issue with Sally Hansen nail polishes chipping on me, specifically the ones that say "No Chip"... They actually chip more on me. The formula is ok to me, but of course It chipped with in a couple days! Its a little pricey too compared to other nail polishes that are better then this in my opinion.

Chips easily

Nice concept, but chips really easily. Even with a topcoat! Decent color selection, but I'd say to stick with Essie or OPI.

Not Impressed

I should say that I don't have weak nails, so I'm not rating this based on it's "nail-hardening" abilities. All I know is, the polish took much longer than average to dry, and I still had to do daily tip touch-ups (even with my favorite topcoat). By the third or fourth day, the polish has to be removed and redone, as the entire perimeter is chipping away. These are the same results I'd get with cheaper polish. No, the cheap polish dries faster!

Sold on the Name But Not the Results

Oh, I was so sold on the name -- Hard As Wraps -- but woe, is me, the product was not any different than Hoof Lacquer or other top coats that I have used in the past. My nails are so brittle that I must be heading toward an osteoporotic existence. In addition, it contains acrylic gel, which I try to avoid, but I didn't read the fine print until I bought it. I am trashing it after I write this review.

Eh. Didn't really live up to its name, I thought.

I bought this in an attempt to add thickness and strength to my overworked nails. Sadly, I'm not too excited about this product. I ended up tossing it! This is a cheap option at drugstores, but I advise you to shell out a bit (or a lot more) for good-quality top coat. From my product-hunting endeavors, I've learned that trying a slew of cheap "so-so" top coats may end up just costing you more in the end, as opposed to investing in a "wow" top coat that you can turn to again and again.

Great for silk wrap nails

I been using this product for a while,I wear silk wrap nd this product help cut the cost I only have to get my nails done once a month or every other month. Some how the product is better than the gel that they use to secure the nails. Now that is a saving to the nail salon, I had no chipping. When I was using the product without the silk wrap yes it did not hold. Try the silk wrap and you will see. Have them put your coat on after They apply there coat and add your one coat plus top coat. It works.

Love it!

Sometimes I go through strange phases with my beauty routine. Occasionally I'll add or subtract items or steps, or just slightly tweak colours or formulations, always trying to get my look perfect, constantly refining it. So, this weekend while in Walgreens picking up prescriptions I was looking around the beauty section. Normally I'd buy nail products from one of the showrooms rather than the drugstore but for some reason I just had to have something right then and there, and Sally Hansen's Hard as Wraps was at my fingertips. Can I just say as someone who does not normally paint my nails, I am pleasantly surprised! I buffed then put on one coat of this clear pink tint on (with nothing else). It has stayed beautifully shiny, strong and chip free for over a week. It's thick and takes a bit to dry so I just followed up with my Creative Nail Design Solar Speed Spray - it set quickly and has lasted... so glossy & gorgeous. Isn't it great to stumble upon a fantastic product when you're not looking for it?
