I had one of these sets a few years ago and I liked it well enough. I thought it worked well and lasted long enough for what I paid for it. I got pretty good at getting the stickers on quickly and at peeling them off after the white had dried without peeling off what I had just applied. I eventually got away from the French manicure look and got rid of this, but I was never really disappointed with it since it was so inexpensive.

HORRIBLE

Awful!! omg I can't even right all the words I have for this kit! First off the white tips take not only forever to dry but last a mater of... five minutes? Give or take if your using your hands or not. The white doesn't go on smooth it's rather thick and fat when it dries. The color coat goes over the white and all the little bumps and grooves of the white make it look terrible. The top coa...read moret is the only thing really of use in this kit (and if you use the color without the white it's ok I guess). After I finished my now nasty looking nails, I discovered when I had to scratch my nose that the nail polish (that was dry btw), didn't smudge but peeled all the way off. I had a perfectly shaped mold of my nail. Then I did the same thing to my thumb and finally pulled all them off. The only plus about this product is it saves you money on nail polish remover.

Too thick

When you first get this it is great. Though within a few months the white nail polish becomes extremely thick and unusable.

I like it..

I'm not sure how everyone else uses this product.. but I love it. It's time consuming to put on the tape, but I enjoy the outcome. I give it an 8 bc it doesn't last as long as a real manicure would, but I put on a clear topcoat and it lasts a lot longer.

go to a salon

Only way I could hide the fact that the white on the tip would leak through the stickers was to glob polish on top. Sometimes it would work. Most times the globbing would either cause bubbles or not dry fully so I would end up messing them up...

It's been a couple of years since I last purchased the french manicure kit by Sally Hansen. As far as colors are concerned, I really liked the ones they offered in their kits. However, the formulas were way too thick. It made the whole process a messy hassle. It also took a really long time to dry. Very frustrating. Once dry, it was completely durable, but keeping it perfect throughout the process...read more was really hard. I'd skip out on this product and look for something easier to work with.

Fair

Good: The finished product looks great and lasts about as long as expected for a home manicure. Bad: The guides leave a sticky residue. As other reviewers noted, after you use this stuff once it dries out and is unusable by the next time you use it.
