best for textured hair
This wax is a cleaner version of most pomades. Great for styling textured hair or short hair to give definition. Great for bed head look too. It doesn't feel all that clean, so don't use too much or you'll feel dirty, although not as bad as using clays. This is the best product for giving your layered hair that piecey look. It has a really smooth texture, and you only need the smallest amount. Just rub a tiny bit between your fingers and smooth it onto your ends, it will define them and give them that "piecy" look. It is also good for taming flyaways and smoothing down your hair while making it look shiny but not slick. It holds too. This is an all around great product. Superlight hold!

Won't repurchase.
I wanted to be impressed by this product, since I see Redken as a high-quality brand, but I just wasn't. I enjoyed the texture and it only takes a small amount to achieve any style/fix that I'm looking for. In fact, I have had this product for over one year and I've still got a little less than 1/3 of the product left. However, the product really doesn't hold up (which is quite important) and I found myself needing frequent touch-ups just to maintain the style. This product was not especially impressing for the price, and I will not be repurchasing. Adds sheen & definition.

Fantastic for Curly Hair
I am mixed race with extremely curly hair and often have trouble finding products that will keep my hair curly without poofing out like a poodle. My mom gave me a jar of this for Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held my curls without poofing up and out. good for curly hair
I like using this when I want more curl definition and hold (a night out or just because). I put it in fairly dry hair, after using my regular products. It also gives hair great shine. Excellent for layered styles of all lengths
I first used this years ago when I had short hair and loved it. I strayed and just recently bought it again. I've tried so many other pomades but this is the best. I have long hair now, but it still does a fantastic job of defining my layers and keeping my side-swipe bangs in place. It isn't greasy and doesn't build up either.
