An effective, color-safe shampoo.

When I had colored hair, this shampoo was one of my favorites. It kept the color from fading, which was the goal. Sometimes in dry weather I found a moisturizing shampoo kept my hair smoother, though.10/10/2007

    Keeps My Highlights Looking Brand New

    I was very wary in Spring 2007 to use this stylist recommended shampoo, as it's second listed ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate and I absolutely loved my new highlights! But my stylist was right on when she recommended RCES! I alternate it with Pureology but mostly use my RCES. My highlights never turn brassy or fade ... I only purchase this when they have the big daddy sizes for a sale price. Love it, smells very nice, gives a great lather and I will continue using it. Why not? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."     PRODUCT QUALITY

    I have been using Redken Color Extend Shampoo for the last 3 yrs and I wouldn't change it! I have my hair dyed red with blonde highlights and ride on a motorcycle on the weekends and my color holds on strong other than the roots! May 19, 2008, 7:13 am

    love redken shampoos and conditioners

    i have always loved redken shampoos and conditioners including this one!!! i color my hair in the auburn family and also add light highlights toward summer and this brightens the highlights without fading out the red undertones!!!! I still have no split ends and no damaged areas and I swear I haven't had a haircut in over ...     Highly Recommended!

    I highly recommend this product. My hair color doesn't usually hold, and I thought, well, lets try it out! So I did, and I absolutely loved it. You don't need to use much shampoo, so it lasts a pretty long time. But this shampoo keeps color in! Yet, it seemed to dry my hair out after 2 bottle uses, so I don't recommend it f...     excellent shampoo

    I have recently tried this shampoo in an effort to extend the time between hair colorings and I have found it to be a really good shampoo. I leaves my hair soft and silky, smells wonderful, and is extending my hair color. March 16, 2008, 4:04 pm

    This will extend reds

    I prefer Redken products to any other, and this one did not let me down. As we all know, red is almost impossible to keep in-between touch-ups. This product coupled with the conditioner really does work on all reds! February 19, 2008, 5:43 am

    Makes hair feel amazing

    My hairstylist told me to use this product for the two weeks after coloring my hair, and I use Redken's All Soft line the rest of the time. The combination is great. This shampoo and the Color Extend conditioner make my hair so soft, it even seems to style more easily. I definitely recommend this product. January 11, 2008, 11:58 pm

    I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

    Redken is a wonderful shampoo. Every time i get out of the shower i feel like i just came back from the salon. Although this is only my first time coloring my hair- i haven't noticed a fade or dullness and i thank my Redken shampoo and conditioner! December 15, 2007, 7:26 pm

    Lock in your color

    I have tried many lines of color extending hair shampoos. I like Redken the best because it locks in my color and provides a barrier against the sun (with UVA protecants). I also leaves my hair shiny, soft, and manageable. December 9, 2007, 2:49 pm

    Not bad

    I got this shampoo and conditioner from my sytlist. I really liked it at first, but the longer I used I the less I liked it. It definitely quit making my hair soft after a few weeks or so. I believe you should switch often anyway so it's a good one to use for a few weeks, but then switch for awhile and come back to it. November 27, 2007, 9:04 pm
