Great for holding straight styles
This finishing spray worked best for me when I changed my expectations. It's not good for freezing updos--it doesn't even keep my ponytail in place--but it holds my straight style. My hair hates to be straightened, and without this it wouldn't stay straight all day, in spite of the all the blowdrying and flat ironing. This spray doesn't add any stickiness, stiffness, or weight to my hair, and I can still run my fingers through it. I'm not crazy about the smell, but the nozzle is so well-designed--giving me a nice, even spray every time--that I'm willing to forgive it. Unimpressed
I will say that I'm partial to l'oreal's elnett, and this is in that price range if not more, so that is where I'm being biased. This did give the hair good hold but the staying power wasn't there. Not for the faint!
This is a SUPER hold hairspray. The number indicates the amount of hold and this is as high as they get! This is for an updo where a single hair out of place would mess it up. This product is a very strong hold and I love it. Not to expensive for a large bottle and its perfect for those nights where its windy and you need to make sure your hair is gonna stay the way it is, or to hold curls for those of us thats hair goes flat fast. Perfect for fine hair
How well you like a particular hair spray partially depends on what type of hair you have. I have a ton of hair but it's very fine and this hairspray is THE best for providing long lasting hold. It is not stiff at all and the can always distributes evenly. I will admit it's not the "strongest" hairspray and I have tried others that hold better, this hairspray is perfect for everyday styles. Not the best choice for something that needs a lot of hold such as an updo. I like this one because I am always able to run a brush through my hair afterwards no matter how much I spray on. saved me after a bad bangs haircut...
love this hairspray! I had gotten a haircut where the bangs were in between bangs and grown out bangs and i needed something to set a style where I could keep the hair out of my eyes without looking stiff or greasy. This kept my hair in place still keeeping a naturally textured hold. My only quaff was that it said it held for 8 hours and i noticed that i needed to reapply it every 4, but didn't want to lug the large bottle to work. MUST HAVE
I have fine hair and this product is one of the first I've found that give the coverage that I need, but also allows me to run a comb through it later in the day without drying it out and making my hair crusty. It gives strong enough coverage when needed but allows for weather and refixing. Wonderful hairspray
