    Superstar Product!

    by jentindell (48 reviews)

First, let's not forget that L'Oreal is owned by Lancôme. Blendable foundation at drug store prices? Heck yeah! I just had to bite when L’Oreal introduced their Truematch several years ago. And I’m so glad I did. I was not only able to blend my way into a color that worked perfect for me (using L’Oreal’s sample kits), I w...as also really impressed with the quality. Blends perfectly, skin looks dewy, never heavy. I never have to wear powder, or even blush because it’s so damn natural. Look, I spend a load of dough on everything else I use so I feel kind of weird getting away with spending so little on this superstar product, would it damage my face or what? It didn't. One caution, get the sample kit from L’Oreal to find your perfect match. Don’t rely on the chart they have by the L’Oreal Foundation display. December 28, 2007, 12:49 pm

    Makes buying makeup easy

    by miyoko79 (5 reviews)

I first bought this foundation because they have a translucent card at the store to make it easy to find your color (I'm a W-2). I get the powder to match, too. The foundation goes on smoothly, and the price is great - if you go through the Sunday ads, someone always has Loreal on sale "buy one get one free". T...here are a lot of coupons, too, so you can get an even better deal. I bought a new bottle over a month ago because I thought I was running low, but I haven't had to open it yet - I feel like I use a generous amount, but the bottle seems to last forever. Thumbs-Up!

    by redinar03 (2 reviews)
As a person with extremely fair skin, it's nearly impossible to find a foundation that doesn't end up making my face look like it's a different color than the rest of my skin. L'Oreal True Match is the only drugstore foundation that provides excellent coverage while matching my skintone perfectly! It's a light foundation ...that, when coupled with the True Match powder, doesn't make my skin look cakey or dried. It's part of my daily beauty routine! November 12, 2007, 1:08 pm

    Extremely fake and mask looking.

    by DearCrumpet (4 reviews)
I'm an NC25 in MAC foundations and found that W3 was a good match for me. The price is great but the actual foundation is awful! It dried out my skin like crazy and REALLY emphasized flakiness. I have no idea why L'Oreal claims that it's "super blendable". I found it to be extremely hard to blend whether I used a... sponge, a brush, or even my fingetips and ended up with a mask-like appearance. Never again will i buy this. May 25, 2008, 7:25 pm

    This product delivers!

    by patrixi (7 reviews)
I have been using a powder foundation for a 7 or 8 years, but I'm getting older now and starting to get some creases and larger pores so I thought it was time for a change. I tried 3 different foundations THIS WEEK-Neutrogena Sheer Tint, Maybelline Mineral Power, and this one. They all promised flawless coverage, etc. but... this one is the ONLY one that delivered. It went on smooth and blended well with the True Match Concealor (which worked well in covering dark circles and fine lines)The match was perfect, it looked great at the end of the day and wasn't heavy AT ALL!! Best of all it made my skin look youthful and dewy. My skin really hasn't looked this great in years!! March 28, 2008, 6:51 pm

I like this, for the price

    by dieselgal26 (7 reviews)
I wear True Match shade N8 on my face and the darker shade W8 around my chin/neck area. I first used this last summer when I cam back from Cancun and I was waaay dark, too dark for my normal MAC NW45 powder. So I tried shade W8 of the True Match foundation and it was the perfect shade. (I use the foundation and pressed po...wder). I wear it daily. It matches my skin tone well. I do have to re-apply towards the end of the day, the makeup wears off since it's water based, but overall for the price (around $10).. I like this product. Sometimes at Walgreens it's 2 for 1 which is even better. I have oily skin, so I use Dermalogica oil control lotion underneath and pat pat pat my face through the day. December 18, 2007, 3:20 pm

    Best I've ever tried

    by JEM214 (17 reviews)

Of all the foundations I've tried in lifetime (which have been a ton), this is by far my favorite. (Note- I try to stick with a $15 and below foundation). It is indeed, super blendable, I never end up with blotches or an obvious line where my makeup ends. I have oily skin and this foundation is moisurizing, but does not ...make my skin oilier. My favorite part, however, is that with alot of other foundations, they tend to be too pink for my skin tone, True Match has perfect undertones and looks totally natural. November 29, 2007, 5:56 am

Sorry, I'm not into the orange tan crazed look....

I bought this a couple months ago in N4 and was looking for a very natural looking foundation that cover my redness and evened out my skin tone without screaming "MAKEUP". I really don't know what all the hype was about. It's like all you hear from are the women who first come across this but not from the ones w...ho've used it for at least 2 weeks or 3. I did love it at first (as everyone usually does with their newly bought products) and thought "Hey this is pretty awesome for a drugstore foundation!" After 2 weeks, I noticed how it was just a really thin formula that was very sheer so it appeared to "blend" into my own skin but really didn't. It just sat on top of my skin. To top it off, in less than three hours after puttin it on, I looked a little muddy and it turned orange!! Also, I could barely touch my face and the foundation would transfer to whatever had landed on it. I would wipe my mouth after eating a little or blow my nose and it would just disappear off my face. I was extremely turned off by the glass container, which seemed interesting at first (because I've never had one) but isn't travel-friendly for obvious reasons. The two things I liked about this foundation is that fact that a little does go a long way(I use a foundation brush by the way.) And the second thing, you do have alot of colors to pick from. That's what had gotten my attention in the first place. Before this completely turns you off, I have oily skin which more than likely played a huge role in everything I hated about it. But in my defense, I did everything I could to love this (primer, toner, washing face 2x a day kept it clean, oil-free products) and none of it worked. Plus, if I have to do all that just to try and make it work a little for me its just not worth my time. January 9, 2008, 2:58 pm

    ALLERGIC REACTION WARNING

    by Kiss_and_Makeup (17 reviews)
    Trusted Review
3 days before attending my first class at the Art Institute I bought and used this product for the first time and continued to use it not expecting any issues. The night before the class I felt some soreness on my left lower eyelid but thought nothing of it...woke up the next morning to get ready for class and FREAKED OUT......my eye was just about swollen shut! I looked like Quasimodo! What sucked even more was that I couldn't get into class without an Art Institute ID...picture and all :( My professor made light and asked what the other guy I had fought looked like. Great first impression I made :( Moral of the story: be careful while applying near the eyes! June 4, 2008, 6:41 am

even with this makeup i couldnt seem to find the exact one. i even went to ULTA and bought samples to try on but still couldnt find one that made me look normal. the powder didnt seem to match the foundations and i had to return the product several times. i ended up with the warm shade but still wasnt satisfied. in the end ...i went with almay. it didnt cover my flaws and by the end of the day it looked like i had no makeup on. i would not recommend this produt May 8, 2008, 2:47 am
