I had itchy skin once from a dirty rug and this cream helped minimized my irritation. It has the consistency of a cream, so it doesn't feel like medication, just like any other cream. It even moisturized my skin! I can say that it helps with minor problems. I don't go without it!
At times I really suffer from irritated skin and before I found this Aveeno anti-itch cream, I just went from product to product trying everything to find some relief without any success. Once I found this, I don't have any worries if skin irritation pops up. If you use this when a spot first begins, you may have overnight relief. It will even help a stubborn inflammation given time, and it will take the itch away immediately.
