Great Mascara for the Money!
I have been using this for about a year and love it! I will say, that my last 2 tubes have not been "right!" For some reason I feel like they have done something to the formula, because it seems different?????? Bought another tube, same thing? Better than most expensive ones!
I was sick of spending 20 bucks on mascara! Read a review of this in Self Magazine (it won a beauty award) and decided to try it. I love it! It works better than most expensive ones I have tried! I have pretty wimpy lashes, and it definitely defines, lengthens, and volumizes them more than any other mascara has done. The price point is great! Not nearly as good as CG Lash Exact
I gave Cover Girl Lash Exact 10 stars because it is the only mascara I've found that truly does not clump. This mascara, Volume Exact, is supposed to be the volumizing version of Lash Exact, so I was expecting a knockout product. Unfortunately, you'd never know it was in the same family as Lash Exact because it does not have the "exactness" of Lash Exact; rather, it clumps horribly. I wa...read mores truly surprised because Lash Exact is so revolutionary (in my book). But Volume Exact clumped as it went on, clumped my lashes together so I looked like I had only 5 or 6 huge lashes, and didn't even plump up the volume as you'd expect from its name (unless you consider clumping to be volume). Lots of Volume and Separation
I absolutely LOVE this mascara! The wand separates and lengthens without any clumps, it's easy to apply and to buildup if you want more color and volume...I'm amazed! I have tried countless mascaras...anything from dirt cheap to embarassingly exspensive, And beleive me, there are hundreds of mascaras out there, and all claiming this, that, and the other thing. But, through all of my mascara romping, this is my ABSOLUTE favorite. it never clumps, and does an unbeleivable job of seperating and lengthening. pretty decent...
I bought the waterproof version of this, so perhaps that makes some difference... I like it, but it does smudge some with me, and I had hoped for more exact definition on individual lashes, which I didn't find.
