good... but not the best
As far as color protection goes, almost all the Pantene products do that, so it's similar to other shampoos and conditioners in their line. It's better than the John Freida stuff which made my hair greasy. Works great on reds!
When I had red hair, I would use only this conditioner to condition my hair. I had trusted it because my sister used the brown shades, and her hair always came out beautifully.
