Okay, not as good as liquid mousse
Bought this when it first came out and back then I loved it. Was the creamiest, smoothest foundation on the market for then. After awhile though the mousse in the jar started to harden? or get more clay like than smooth. I threw it away. Later now that they came out with the liquid I will never go out. It doesnt get hard like this one the pot and plus you don't have your fingers contaminating it ...read moretime after time for bacteria to grow and then be put on your face. I Like it!
While there are alot of pros and cons to this product, it made me remember why I bought it in the first place as I recently found my jar of it whilst cleaning one day. I tried some of it on and despite hating the texture at first (Clumpy), once blended properly, I remembered why I loved it the first time. However, I did find it abit chunky as it goes on (probably due to the age of the jar I have), but of course with the right brush and abit of patience I can blend it into that flawless finish that I am always looking for but have yet to find with other foundations! I keep coming back!
I really like this foundation. I'm not prone to acne, but may get zits ocassionally. This product does a good job covering my zits and acne scars (though you'd also need concealer for better coverage). The thing I love the most about this product is the way it feels. This is a nice foundation to use with a mousse or cream blush, but it also works with powdered blushes. Good product. Light and Even
I love this foundation. I've been using it for several years now and wouldn't trade it for the world. It goes on really light, really even, and although it's not great for acne prone skin I actually mix it with an acne fighting moisturizer with SPF in it and I have never had a problem with it breaking me out. I like this product, but
With this foundation I found it gave me great coverage. Loved that I did look as oily as I would normally look by mid-afternoon but, as far as the color or shades the color I have is off but the next color up is to light and the next color down is to dark. Miracle in a Jar!
PERFECT coverage. I usually put on concealer, liquid make-up, and then pressed powder......Good-bye forever. This product does the job of all 3. For the last 25 years that was part of my make-up routine, never thought I would change it in a million years. It lasts all day, not like powder. Best quality make-up I ever bought. Even hides dark circles under eyes. not a dream for me
It made my already dry skin look even drier. It exaggerated every place that my skin was dry. It also transfered very easily. I always get dressed after I put my makeup on, and I would always have traces of this on my clothes, no matter how careful I was when I would get dressed. Annoying much? Love!
When my face isn't breaking out or inflame this product is amazing. I love my other foundations but for my specific skin type and the condition I have this helps not make my face flake up like my other foundations. It does say Matte but its matte enough where I don't have horrible shine but enough that it gives me a natural glow. The only downfall is that the color I wear is a little light but the color next up is too dark for me. it's OKAy...
The coverage is good but... it's a little oily. After having the product for a little while (I tried some other products in the interim) it smells funny. Not a long shelf life. If you have acne prone skin; not your friend. But the shades blend well and the coverage is good.
