Shimmer is an understatement on this product. It really just looks like someone poured glitter on you. If that is the look you are going for, great, but if not, then beware. I use the vanilla spice body butter and love the scent, but this lotion smells very different than the body butter. It must have something to do with the formulation. Be aware that anything you touch will deposit shimmer on it and do not touch your lips with this stuff on - it tastes awful. I bought this around Christmas to give it a try because it smelled good and I like being glittery! The smell is a exactly what it claims to be, vanilla with a hint of spice! The shimmer is perfect too, very subtle...doesn't make you look like you are trying to hard to stand out and be shiny! It's non greasy and long lasting, and I LOVE IT! The shimmer is the most unique shimmer I have ever seen, so mild, yet beautiful.
