The Conair Ceramic Straighter with the 25 different temperature settings is definately the better choice!! I hated using this one, it did not heat up enough to straighten my very wavy/semi-curly hair. Long Lasting!
I have had this straightener since 2002- 6 years now, and it still works great. I have to say that the construction doesn't seem to be very sturdy- the handles wiggle a bit and my hair has gotten caught under the edge of the ceramic plate (*ouch!!*). However, it has consistently worked to make my hair both straight and smooth. It is great at calming frizzies.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
