    Miracle Cream!

    by makeuplover25 (34 reviews)
    Trusted Review
I would say this is the best stuff ever if you have anything that is dry and cracked. Works great on cracked heels. It works best if you use it before you go to bed. For example put some on your heels and than put some socks on. You will wake up with brand new feet. What tops the cake, you can use this product on your babys... diaper rash. It works like a charm. One and only draw back to the miracle cream is it doesnt smell great. But its worth it if you or your baby is in pain. This is a must have essential to have on hand at all times. Amazing Stuff!

    by Tangie (3 reviews)
Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream is nothing short of a beauty miracle. I've used it for years, and will use it forever. During the colder months, I apply a thin layer all over my face over my nighttime moisturizer, and it makes my skin soft, smooth and glowy in the morning. I tend towards very dry skin, so this stuff has bee...n a godsend. It really does heal many irritations overnight, and puts an end to flaky, stressed-out complexions. Be prepared--it has a thick, balm-like texture very unlike any other product that calls itself a "cream" and may take some getting used to, but it is worth every second of that for the results you get. I love it, and I think anyone with dry skin will adore it, too! December 3, 2007, 8:08 am

Use This As A Lipgloss and Highlighter.

    by FredaG (4 reviews)
This product is truly great. I use it on my lips as a lipgloss. Just squeeze a little on your finger and apply. It has a great consistency and a smidge of an apricot color. It's a good product to wear when you are in casual mode. No lipstick look at all. Also, put a dab on your lips before bedtime. You'll never get c...happed lips if you do that! If you want to highlight your cheekbones, just apply and pat on. You can also use it as a highlighter on your eyebone. Don't use too much! A little goes a long way with this product. Amazingly, you can also use this for cuts and scrapes. And even as a cuticle cream. This is one of the most diverse products out there! October 27, 2007, 10:37 am

    Cures eczema!

    by angiep (5 reviews)
Ok, maybe not exactly but I do have eczema which for those of you who have it, makes regular dry skin seem like a walk in the park. I discovered this last year with the 'vintage' packaging (I'm a sucker for packaging) and fell in love with this cream. It soaks in and makes my skin soft and doesn't make it itch further. This... stuff works, and that says a lot. December 11, 2007, 2:27 pm

    Must have beauty product!

    by SKenno (7 reviews)
I love the 8-hour cream skin protectant! I have used it for years because I have very dry skin. But I also use it on my lips in the winter and my cuticles. I always have a small tube in my purse for emergencies too, because you can also use it like its polysporin and it will help the cut heal just as fast! February 1, 2008, 10:10 am

    this is a must have

    by eef647 (3 reviews)
By far one of the best all purpose creams out there. i use it for everything from dry cuticles to lip gloss. I have to admit its a bit addictive too. Some people I know aren't fond of the slightly medicinal smell but I will look past that as it cures even the driest of skin. It's especially great in the winter when skin... tends to dry out. Love, love, love this product.

    by Townley (3 reviews)
First used it on my eyelids to moisturize. Now I use it on my lips every night before bed. Also useful on cuticles, elbows, heels and knees. I have to say that the smell takes some getting used to, but I'm very sensitive to smell. This product is the greatest! I'll use it for another 20 years! November 24, 2007, 5:35 pm

    Intensely Moisturizing, but smells "off".

EA's Eight Hour Skin Protectant is amazing. It is incredibly moisturizing -- perfect for dry, chapped, flaky skin. Unfortunately whenever I used it, I felt as if my skin was burning (and I don't normally have very sensitive skin). It's thick and sort of greasy, so I'd save it for nighttime. Amazing stuff if you can get p...ast the unappealing texture and scent. October 8, 2008, 10:52 am

    Heavy/Thick for extremely dry skin

    by Jxdavis (52 reviews)

My mother-in-law gave me this for Xmas one year & I was really excited to try it after hearing rave reviews about it from people & in magazines. I was really surprised by how thick & heavy it is. I would never use it on my face again! It felt was difficult to spread & felt greasy. It probably works as a ...good spot treatment for extremely dry areas, &, for that reason, will last a long time. • The skincare classic that soothes, restores, calms and helps relieve chapped, cracked, dry skin. Soothes roughness, redness and minor skin irritations.   The Legend Created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective is a combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E. The apricot colored balm was so beneficial to her clients, Miss Arden used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses' legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance - a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and "eight hours later" the skin was all better.
