I don't think it's making my hair shine but it's a good hairdryer with an added bonus: easy to clean out the dust! this is a great hairdryer- it has lasted us for over a year and 1/2 before the heat element. Would buy another if I saw it.I know I use a lot of hairspray and don't clean it often enough, but most hairdryers don't last that long without keeping them perfectly clean, which I didn't do with this one either.
