Estee Lauder Take it Away LongWear Makeup Remover Towelettes Reviews

Nice, but not too spectacular considering the price
I received a travel size pack of this makeup remover towelettes as a gift with purchase. Just like other cleansing clothes, these towelettes are convenient, portable and pre-moistened facial cleansing washcloths. For my daily makeup, I do not see major difference in results between these and drugstore brand cleansing cloths like Garnier Wet Cleansing Towelettes or one of the Olay lines. While I like the scent of Garnier ones slightly better, my skin might have felt a bit less sticky when I used Estee Lauder's, but I use a toner after removing my makeup with these clothes anyway. The biggest difference is obviously the cost. Garnier's is less than half the price of Estee Lauder's. I did not pay for this one, but if I have to, for my travel makeup remover I would probably stick with affordable brands like Garnier, Olay, Boots or Pond's. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Get Them Cheaper
All of these types of products are pretty much the same, that is except for the price!! Which is a real rip off! Trader Joes has some excellent ones for a fraction of the price. Also, think about it, they are basicely a baby wipe. Check out the ingredients and then go to the baby isle in the grocery store!!! I use to use some but can not remember the name of them right now. I got into them for the novelty but went back to the old fashion way. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love Estee Lauder Towelettes
These work so well, especially since I love using waterproof makeup & mascara. Does not leave your skin dry after using daily and even seems to add a little moisture behind after every use. Cost a little more than others but Estee Lauder has a winner with this one. Macy's at times has this on sale so that's when I buy a few to stock up. Love these makeup remover towelttes. — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

For certain times
These are great for travel or on the go, but I agree that they aren`t exactly eco friendly. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Little Face Savers!
These towelettes are wonderful little miracles. The cleans my face entirely, leaving not a trace of dirt or make-up. They are extremely portable and come in handy on any trip. Especially if you travel by plane, these little cloths will refresh and give your skin a look of stress free relaxation. I love to use them in warm weather. Cooling and comforting. I use them not just on my face but my neck and shoulders as well. And they have a lovely light scent. You'll want to stock up so you may have a pack not just in your bathroom cabinet but in your purse, your car's glove box and by your work station ( office, desk etc...) You'll find these cloths are for more then just getting your face really clean! — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Convenient... earth friendly?
Works well- but not sure if this is more or less earth friendly than a dap of product on a q-tip. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Love them!
These towelettes are absolutely great! They easily take off my makeup without leaving that oily residue. I usually rip one of them in half because that's all I need and put the other half back in the bag for next time. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
