      I bought a Stila blush brush a few years ago because I have always been impressed with the quality of their makeup and was confident that the brushes would be good quality as well. While the brush worked well, I was disappointed to find that after a couple years, the handle was cracking and the paint chiiping off to the bar...e wood underneath, and the bristles were breaking off. I do take very good care of my makeup brushes - I shampoo them and lie them flat to dry every other week - so this should not have happened since I was taking good care of it. I would recommend Bobbi Brown brushes instead, if you are looking for top-quality brushes. I have had some (used daily) for 7 (!) years now, and they show no signs of giving out!
