    Great over sunscreen

I hate putting sunscreen on because it leaves my skin so shiny, but I know it's a must. Using OC Eight after the sunscreen as dried really helps to control that shiny look and makes a great primer for my make up application. A little goes a long way, I only need to use a small amount to cover my t-zone, so the tube lasts me a long time, making it a great value. — 4 years, 7 months ago

i would give it a 10 if it lasted a perfect 8 hours

i am very impressed with how the gel instantly mattfies my skin after i apply it--which is when i get out of a steaming hot shower. i had my mom inspect my face every hour of the day and she told me she noticed a big improvement as far as less oiliness. usually i have to go through a few blotting papers throughout the day, but with the oc eight gel i didn't have to. i would say it made my skin ...read morelook at least 50% less oily and i have horribly greasy skin. i never had to reapply my makeup though, just one paper throughout the day :) this stuff is a miracle if you have super oily skin. i would have liked it to last all 8 hours but i think it worked for 6 hours at the most. it's better than nothing :) and the tube will last a long time. — 5 years, 9 months ago

    Great Stuff

my dermatologist recommended OC Eight to me due to my oily acne prone skin.. i find through out the day i am continuously reapplying my Jane Iredale mineral face powder.... this stuff is great... now that i can buy it online its even better and easier to purchase.. I recommend any woman with oily acne prone skin like me to try it... even if it works for a couple of hours, its definitely worth it... — 5 years, 10 months ago

Mattifies for 3 rather than 8 hours

I bought this to mattify my very very oily skin. I was looking for a primer of some sort to go under my makeup since I started using mineral makeup. I liked how fast it matiffies after applying but what I didn't like is that it didn't last long and certainly not for 8hrs. I have to use light foundation and mineral makeup still since my skin is so oily. I thought with OC Eight I could just use mine...read moreral makeup but was disappointed. It's not a bad product in that I didn't get any breakouts or bad reaction from using it so I recommend OC Eight to those who have slightly oily skin and not excessive oily skin because you won't really see a difference. — 6 years, 4 months ago

    Miracle product

If you have oily skin, you MUST get this. You put it on after your moisturizers, sunscreens, etc, but before makeup. It won't counteract your sunscreen and it keeps shine and oil at bay ALL DAY. It is an answer to my prayers. — 6 years, 5 months ago

Eight hours No, but still repectable relief

I have extremely oily skin and huge pores. I got at least 3 hours of relief from Cliniac O.C. and was devestated when they stopped producing that mattifying gel. I had heard about OC Eight and was finally able to obtain a tube from DermatologistRx.com. It definately mattifies me but only holds for 2 - 3 hours. I wear it under my Bare Minerals foundation and have to reapply at least twice during th...read moree day over what little makeup I have left. My only issue with the product is that since I am african american, I have to make sure it is really blended well or it dries white and ashy on my skin. Now it is sold on Dermadocter.com also. I have 2 tubes. One for my purse and one for my bathroom makeup table. — 6 years, 8 months ago
