    Classic Lip Care

You can never go wrong with Carmex. Most especially in the winter time. This product goes back to high school for me. I always have one in my handbag.

    One I go back to

I have used a plethora of lip products and balms because I have the potential to get the worst, most cracked and chapped lips imaginable. Carmex is one of the few brands that I continually reach back to to help me. It helps my lips but also gives them a nice sheen. The product costs a little more than a dollar and is a great buy. I really recommend this product.

    Don't buy Strawberry

I don't know about regular Carmex tubes, but I am using the stawberry (spf 15) tube right now and am pretty disappointed in it. First of all, it doesn't really smell like strawberry - more like a bunch of chemicals. But I could live with the smell if it actually kept my lips moist, but it doesn't. Within 15-20 minutes, it has pretty much evaporated and needs to be re-applied. My lips are very dry right now, so I need a lip balm that lasts. Sadly, this doesn't.

    Life Saver!

Oh my goodness! Carmex is seriously a life saver. It is so worth 87 cents! It leaves your lips feeling great and works like a charm on chapped lips. Definitely a must in my makeup bag!

    Kinda Icky...

The formula in the tube is a little runny and icky. But it still works good for chapped lips, although /i prefer the jar or the stick more.

    Miracle!!!!

I absolutely love this product. It beats out all the other drugstore and high brand products. It has a pretty firm bottle and it definetly lived up to it's claims. It made my chap winter lips soft in about one use. It works great! It gives a nice shiny gloss also so I use it ontop of lipstick sometimes.

    Carmex in a tube

I first tried carmex a good couple weeks ago, I bought it because I heard good reviews and it looked attractive. I really enjoy the packaging and have no problems what so ever with opening the lid. The amount is good enough and for the price but it doesn't fill the tube up to the max. I like the formular as it gets rid of my chapped lips within 2-4 applications. The smell is slightly strong and it...read more smells mostly of sillicon (sillicon is great for removing top layers, and that is what's used to make wart medication) it reminds some people especially if they had warts of a discusting smell as removing warts is not a pleasent thing. Again the smell doesn't personally bother me - but it's not of best scents. When it's on my lips it's on it, no sliding, no gloopyness nothing although it gives off a subtle shine. It sinks in very fast so you don't have to worry about it just sitting on top of your lips. I would recc reccomend this to people with chapped lips, and I would repurchase.
