    Overly kinky hair tamed

    by charlenea (6 reviews)
I am an African-American women who wears a natural. My hair is styled in a medium sized afro. Although my hair is somewhat fine, it is also very dense not to mention extremly curly. As a result I've spent hundreds a dollars and countless hours buying and trying products on the market that claim to target my specifc hair ...needs. Until, a friend suggested the Aveda Sap Moss. I absolutely love this product. I use this product as an instant conditoner, styling balm and a deep conditioner. It smells great, but more importantly it imparts manageability in my hair. It's creamy and light weight so it rinses out well, leaving no product film on hair ends and does not weigh my hair down. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who has experienced environmental, chemical or mechanical damage to their hair, and for anyone with naturally-curly hard to manage hair! Clean and healthy but a little thin

    by Tammy_C (7 reviews)
I love Aveda's sap moss shampoo, and this detangler is a good followup to the shampoo. It's not as concentrated as the shampoo, so it's a bit thin, especially if you have long, coarse hair like mine. It does provide clean, lightweight conditioning. I just wish Aveda would put more in the bottle, since it seems to disappe...ar faster than the shampoo. April 24, 2008, 12:16 pm

    Very Moisturizing

I used to use this product with the shampoo as my hair can get dry and this combo can moisturize very dry hair. The smell is fabulous and although expensive, I found it great for taming the frizzies. I just wouldn't use it every day because my scalp would appear "greasy." May 18, 2008, 10:42 am

    GREAT PRODUCT

    by heysendithere (8 reviews)
I love Sap Moss. The smell is kind of woodsy but the product works! It really tames down on frizz. I love to use this when I straighten my hair. The only drawback I noticed is when used with the shampoo you definitely need a backup once every other week like Aveda Shampure to get some of the weight/buildup out. December 28, 2007, 2:07 pm

    It really works! And cruelty-free!

    by sakotaki (3 reviews)
What I want from a conditioner is tangle-free, static-free, shiny hair. Sap Moss gives me all this and more--great smell, not the typical "aveda perfume", and it also gives my thin hair body. It does weigh down my hair more than other conditioners, but those conditioners don't seem to prevent static and tangles ...all day long. December 27, 2007, 5:42 am

    The best

    by Darcien1 (16 reviews)
This product is the best out there. It really helps with dandruff and creating healthy hair from damaged. A little pricey but if you can swing it, it is worth it. The smell is pleasant as well, one that my spouse loves. December 5, 2007, 12:03 pm

    Thank God you were there.

My niece had come to spend a week with me and her hair looked like it had not been properly combed or washed in a long time, so I gave myself the task of washing and styling the 2year old's gorgeous, long, tangled hair. Washing and rinsing was a huge fight ,but my ultimate problem was getting the tangles out of her hair. A...fter shampooing and conditioning, I still needed a conditioner. I searched in my bathroom closet and found this. It helped me untangle her hair and condition it. During the last rinse on this product I realized her long hair was even longer. It was past the center of her back. Without this product I would not have been able to detangle or even think of completing her hair. Styling is another story. July 22, 2009, 8:00 am

Bring this back!!! Makes hair feel great

    by narsdiva (12 reviews)
I fell in love with this line right before it got discontinued so i stocked up, and sadly i will run out. In its place came dry remedy, which isn't bad i just really miss sap moss. I happen to like the smell it left on my hair and the way my hair felt afterwards was great. June 7, 2009, 2:36 pm
