  gentle on scalp

  i used to have chronic flaky scalp. not dandruff, but the small white dry flakes. i did some research online and many people said it was the SLS in almost every shampoo out there. i started using aveda shampoos (this and the Brilliant line) and the flakes disappeared within 2 days. I LOVE IT. Shampure suds up more easi...ly and is therefore easier to work through the hair than Brilliant. and it smells fantastic! March 6, 2008, 6:39 pm

  My Favorite Shampoo

  I ask for the huge bottle every Christmas and it last me all year. I have one other favorite and I switch when I get bored. I love the smell and it works fantastic. I have fine thin colored hair. I would recommend it on scent and performance. This is a shampoo that out performs everything I've ever used. I've tried what fee...ls like thousands of brands from the store to the salon. I always feel bad when I waste money on something else. Plus I would never buy something that was tested on animals and Aveda is Cruel FREE!!!! Yes to companies that care. January 27, 2008, 12:19 pm

  Finally a scent other than apple!

  After working in a smoky bar for years and never able to maintain a fresh, clean scent head of hair, this product made it possible. I could wash my hair 3x and was still able to smell the smoke in it while blow drying. This product's scent is like no other. I find it very aromatic and cannot get enough of this shampoo. ...I purchased the hair cream for men and it has the same scent. I just hope they don't alter it because if I sniff one more bottle of shampoo and it smells like apple...! January 1, 2008, 9:35 pm

  This would be it. Lathers well, not too much to strip your hair's own oils. The smell is classic Aveda, all natural and Zen-like. My hair always smells fresh for up to two days after using this product and it has shine as well, not ridiculous glossy shine, healthy shine. I simply love it. Go ahead and buy a big-ass 2 lite...r bottle of the stuff, you won't be sorry you did. December 28, 2007, 4:39 pm

  Got hooked after my first sample/trial bottle!

  I honestly didn't know anything about this Shampoo until I got a tiny 50 ml. bottle and a few other stuff when I signed up for the Aveda Pure Privelege card at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. This shampoo is unbelievably good. I love the smell and the fact that after each time I use it in the shower, there's noticeabl...y less "falling hair" on the bath tub as opposed the other shampoos I've used. So, after this surprising discovery, I went ahead and bought me a 1 liter bottle! So, yes, those tiny sample bottles actually help. Really. November 12, 2007, 6:01 pm

  great shampoo

  I go to a Aveda salon, and ever since I've been hooked! They make a great product, with natural smells and variety of products. This is my favorite shampoo (and conditioner) by them. I can use this everyday, and my hair never feels dry. I color my hair, and it is gentle enough to use and always leaves it fresh and smelling ...fantastic! November 29, 2007, 11:26 pm

  Heavenly!

  What I love most about this product is the natural scent. When I use this it really sticks with my hair. I love getting comments of how good I smell when I use it. I only wish the matching conditioner was a bit stronger. It doesn't appear to help much. I would recommend pairing the shampoo with a stronger condition.   this shampoo has an intoxicating aroma. my bald boyfriend actually buys this stuff to use as a body wash. i've used this for years and years and i never tire of that wonderful smell. i wish they sold it as a frangrance oil. June 3, 2008, 10:49 am

  yummy shampoo

  This is the most yummy smelling shampoo. It is gentle on your hair and the smell lasts all day. I have been using this shampoo for almost a year now and my stylist has noticed the difference in my hair texture as well as growth. She says my hair grow faster because the shampoo is so great!   worth every penny

  It is a little pricier than drugstore shampoo, but the bottle lasted much longer than the drugstore brands, and it was a smaller bottle, too. It made my hair feel so good, I was able to skip conditioner a few times. The smell is so light and feminine, May 28, 2008, 8:05 am
