Not so thrilled with the scent

I bought this product about a month ago and use it almost everyday, or whenever I wear my hair pulled into a ponytail. I have to admit, I'm not liking the scent at all. The product itself is quite nice (holding stray hairs in place, for example), but the scent has a medicinal smell, somewhat minty with a whiff of alcohol. I continue to use it because of its performance and due to the cost.
