  Queen of all mascaras!

  This is by far the best mascara I've ever tried! Better than L'oreal, Lancome, Clinique, Sephora, you name it. I'm obsessive about mascaras and this mascara does it all. It thickens, lengthens, and darken my stubborn Asian lashes. I always get compliments everytime I use it. I'm pretty lazy about doing my lashes, but when I... do have on this mascara, people always assume I'm wearing faux lashes. I have wide eyes, and this mascara (compared to the rest) I have noticed that it softens my eyes, it gives it dimension instead of looking flat. It gives me the dollface look. And if it clumps, it just means it's time to throw it away and go get a new one. September 5, 2008, 12:17 am

  Clumpy and flaky

  I've tried several bottles of this and each one has dried out within a couple weeks. When it's dried out, it's useless, but even if it's not I find that after about 5 hours of wearing it, I have a black shadow under my eye where the eyeshadow has come off. It's a real pain to look in the mirror every half hour to make sure ...I don't look like a racoon. April 23, 2008, 6:06 am

  Best mascara for the price!

  This is absolutely my favorite mascara for the price. It definitely lengthens and adds volume without looking too fake. The previous reviewer who said it makes your lashes look natural is right - that's the point! Sure, I could spend 4 times as much and get an amazing Christian Dior mascara, but for every day wear this i...s great.   doesn't quite deliver

  This product promises both volume and length without clumps. In my opinion, it delivers on the length but not so much on the volume, and definitely not without clumps. My lashes are average, so maybe it's volumizing to someone with finer lashes, but that wasn't my experience.   not for me

  It seemed to be working good at first and lengthening my lashes, but after just a couple weeks, my eyelashes were suddenly shorter! It was eating my eyelashes! And my friend warned me about it since she saw me at lunch with the same mascara she had used and I was like, what? It ate your eyelashes?!? And I just forgot about ...what she said and then it happened to me! And it wasn't like it was an amazing mascara anyway. Yuck. I threw it out for sure! May 25, 2009, 3:17 pm

  Love this mascara

  I have very short lashes and this mascara makes them look twice as long. I comes off easily and the fibers are not a problem even though I wear contacts. I had been using the regular XL mascara but this one is even better. April 18, 2008, 7:28 am

  Doesn't Deliver

  I tried this product and it didn't do what it says about thickening. I was not impressed at all. I must say that I contacted the Maybelline Company by telephone and they were very good about sending me a reimbursement coupon so I could try another of their mascara's. February 25, 2008, 10:27 pm

  I absolutely love this mascara, since I purchased my first tube it is the only thing I have worn. It lengthens and intensifies my lashes and makes them look like I love them to look. I am always asked what kind of mascara I'm wearing or if my lashes are real when I wear this product. I am a hooked. December 7, 2007, 7:12 am

  So little in a bottle

  This product touted great lashes XXL but the base coat clung more to the wand than to my lashes and dried quickly so I had to clean the brush often. I used one coat white than one coat black but ran out of black before white. November 15, 2007, 8:13 am

  It's okay...

  I used plenty of mascaras before but I just think that the name of this product does not match up with the quality of the item. XXL... makes people think of crazy dramatic lashes. It didn't give me the lengths and volume that I was hoping for. Also, I went through it really fast since it's the primer and the actually mascar...a in 1. I would not buy this product again.
