Lancome's Foundation is Simply LOVELY!

Lancome should hire me as a spokeswoman; you see, I promote their products so much for free anyway that I would be an asset to them. I always return to their "Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup." It is seamless on me and so quick to apply. There is no heavy powder look--just radiance! This Pennsylvania winter was absolutely brutal and I needed a tad more moisture, even with great skin product...read mores, and so I turned to their liquid "Renergie Lift Makeup" ($45.00). I appreciated the huge range of shades in cool, warm, and neutral, and I found a fair one to suit my light skin perfectly. Lancome has created a Micro-Lift™ Technology which is actually a dispersion of waxes to create an imperceptible molding network on the skin, like shapewear for your complexion, instantly giving an uplifting feeling and look. Reflective Micro-Pearls play with light to catch it and add an optical glowing illusion. Vitamin E goes to work to leave you looking younger, softening skin and blurring visible lines and creases. There is an SPF of 20 included--so important in the summer or winter! This is a moderate-coverage base. It is substantive enough to disguise imperfections and even skin's tone, yet it is never heavy or cakey. Since your face is the "canvas" for other products, I think it's extremely important to find a foundation which works perfectly for you. Lancome, you have my heart (and a lot of my money!).

Amazing radiant glow!!

This may be my HG and I've tried TONS of foundations!! Yes the color matching is great but the best part of this foundation is how amazing it makes my skin look. Gives me such a pretty glow that I don't even want to put bronzer or blush on for fear of ruining it. Coverage is great. The texture is wonderful. Great for drier skin like mine. Get a sample at Macy's or Sephora or wherever. You won't be sorry!

Review subject

This foundation would probably be good for somebody who has dry skin. I have oily and part combination skin, and within few minutes after applying my face got really oily looking. Constant powder appliance needed. Wasn't really happy about that.

HG Foundation

I tried dozens from Chanel to Revlon. This goes on creamy, gives excellent medium coverage, doesn't settle into fine lines, & lasts 12 hours without making me look like a mummy! And unlike others, it matches my skin tone!

Great Coverage

I love this foundation! While it's a little pricey I find that the coverage is long-lasting - a problem that I have with a lot of foundations. This truly lasts the longest on me!

I can do as wellr for less $$

This is a very nice foundation but I found the same shade and coverage in Revlon for about a third of the price.

I have been a fan of this foundation for years!

I really like this foundation! It goes on smooth and blends well. It stays put all day so there is no need to keep doing touch ups. I think it does lift like it says its suposed to... I am 34 but people always think I am in my mid 20's.

Supposed to be a full coverage? I think not...

The foundation feels good on the skin...but I feel like the coverage is so thin and the formula takes forever to blend in and does not sit well into the skin. It does however look great and porcelain-like in photographs, but for the price, I'd rather have Dior's, which have similar colors but a much better finish.
