  I do love this product. This product is not used the salon I work for, but I do own and use this product on clients that do come in for thermal straightening. The product does have a wax-like consistency to it, so I would encourage less than a dime-sized amount from base to ends, prior to thermal application. Best used o... Best used on African-American hair, particulary hair that has not been chemically altered with the use of relaxer's, and not straighter textured hair, because this product can weigh down round/ovel cell hair.
