I also wash my brushes quite often and the ferrule stayed tight and the brush cleans well without losing bristles. I really like this brush and I think anyone who needs a good blush brush sh...ould invest in this one. My blush loads evenly and applies very nicely, this is one VS product that is really great, and it's price is great too.
