    Pricy, but a great product

May 21, 2008, 7:15 am Despite the rave reviews I've read here and other places, I'd stayed away from Tarte's cheek stain because of the price. However, I was lucky enough to get a sample mini version in a "gift with purchase" from Beauty.com, and I really do love it. As others have said, it seems sticky at first, but then it seems to "magically" blend into my skin with just a little massaging/blending with my fingers. The color also seems a bit intense at first, but it also tames for a nice blushing, natural look. The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is the price, if I could afford it, I'd definitely buy a full-size version. May 21, 2008, 7:15 am

Tarte's cheek stains are a really unique type of blush product. The gel base and push-up format make it easy to build color, and the natural-looking stain never looks cakey or fake. April 24, 2008, 8:00 am Tarte's cheek stains are a really unique type of blush product. The gel base and push-up format make it easy to build color, and the natural-looking stain never looks cakey or fake. They come in a variety of colors for every complexion, and even have some bronze tones as well (the bronze goddess shade gives a beautiful glow for the summer!). All have a gorgeous dewy glow and great staying power. In my experience, the best way to apply it is actually not directly from the tube, but with your fingertips. Rub some onto the back of your hand or right onto your fingers, then start with the apples of your cheeks in circular motions. You can apply several layers or even mix shades to get exactly the look you want. April 24, 2008, 8:00 am

February 24, 2008, 5:49 pm Myself being extremely fair, I needed a very natural blush in the palest pink shade that I could find. With the help of Tarte's Customer Service, I choose "Dollface". Boy, am I GLAD I purchased this item !! I have been searching for what seems like forever for a product that would NOT make me look like a clown !! At 54 years old, this product definitely makes me look younger also, so..... All you older people out there do not hesitate to throw away that powder blush and purchase this item...... You will be glad you did !! February 24, 2008, 5:49 pm

January 9, 2008, 2:15 pm I got this in Dollface after hearing so much about it and I absolutely had to try it. I freaked out at first because when first applied to my cheeks, I thought that it had completely melted or was old. Turns out that's normal with this product as I left it at room temperature and it was still the same consistency. Upon first use, I hesitated on whether I liked it or not. After a week of using it, this is definitely my HG blush ever. I have oily skin and this still stays on and somehow manages to make my cheeks look dewy, not greasy. I thought the color was too light for me in the beginning but its perfect for layering and I can intensify the color by doing just that. 28 dollars does seem a little pricey for a blush but I've had this since last August and its now January and I have used this daily with at least 2-3 swipes on each cheek and I have barely used one-eighth of the product. The container itself is at least two inches in height and about a little more and one inch in diameter. I'm pretty sure this stuff will go bad before I ever even come close to running out so it's definitely worth the price. January 9, 2008, 2:15 pm

    Blush, blush, baby!

This gel-based cheek stain imparts the kind of blush that will have everyone thinking you have a dewy, natural peaches and cream complexion. Easy to apply - just dab on a tiny bit and blend well - Tarte Cheek Stain is long wearing and long lasting. At $28., it's a little pricey, but it does last. Tarte Cheek Stain comes in a rainbow of colors so that you should have little trouble finding one that suits your complexion. I would, however, caution those with acne-prone skin to opt for a powder blush instead of this gel-based one. November 20, 2007, 4:50 pm

A Favorite Stain - long lasting
