I have very oily skin. Got a sample from la mer counter. Brought it with me all the way to havaii vacation for a week. It worked great. My skin stayed soft and less oily. I'm a little on the acne-prone side and being a current user of other La Mer products, I wanted to give this a shot. With my skin type, I'm limited in my choice of moisturizers. I don't know if my face just needed a period of adjustment in getting used to this stuff or what, but I broke out...nothing crazy but it was fairly annoying, seeing as to how I'd been using Olay anti-aging/anti-blemish moisturizer and had been on a winning streak:-) On the upside, this did reduce my existing acne scars somewhat, made my face really soft, and curbed the oil slicks in the T-zone. If you want to drop the $$ on this, fine.
