LANCOME EFFACERNES WATERPROOF PROTECTIVE UNDEREYE CONCEALER
Great product which actually does the work all concealers are supposed to do - however, not all of them work on dark under eyes, shadows around the nose, below the lower lip, on red spots, pimples - you name it. My skin's dry but this one doesn't make it dryer, yet it has a great concealing power. And it stays long. A shop assistant recommended covering it with foundation but I always wear the concealer on top of everything else - this makes it most effective for me. I would say this is one of, if not THEE best concealer I have ever used. And let me tell you, I have tried A LOT of concealers! I was born with hereditary dark circles, puffiness, and thin under-eye skin. They are the kind of circles that if I don't cover them, people are asking me if I'm ok all day. They are quite embarrassing. But this product has by far out-shined the rest. The color "Light Buff" works very well on my NC15 skin tone. It is a bit darker/more yellow than my actual skin, but over the purpleness of my under-eye area it looks like a perfect match. It starts out very creamy/liquidy to blend out, but then after it sits for a bit it sets, which I LOVE. Even though I tend to have dry skin, it is not overly drying. It is just dry enough to stay in place, unlike some of those cream concealers that just move/slide all over the place until they are rubbed off by the end of the day. The coverage is also very build-able. Lay down a layer, let it dry/set, and then put another layer on if you need it. I don't think they have the most amazing shade range, so that may be the only difficulty I see some people having. But besides that, if you are on the fence about this product, JUST TRY IT! Or get a sample if you can. Because it has definitely been a Holy Grail product for me! Expensive, but definitely worth every penny. I bought this about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. I was in search of a concealer to hide this horrible discoloration under my right eye. People sometimes think its a black eye on bad days and running eyeliner or mascara on good days. I had been using the time balm concealer or kat Von d tatoo concealer. It never really hid it, just made it lighter. I came to grips that I would just have to live with it. After returning some Christmas sweaters :), I found myself at the lancome counter, drooling over mascara and eye palettes. The girl at the counter was super nice and she suggested I try this under-eye concealer. She kept talking about how it was waterproof and that would make all the difference for the coverage I was looking for. She was absolutely right. You cannot see my 'black eye' at all now. It gives me a completely different (fresher) look. Now i can smudge my eyeliner uner my lower lash line and not look like i've had a rough night. This was my first lancome purchase besides bi-facil. Somehow I thought it was too old lady and stuffy for my tastes. I guess I made up reasons because it seemed to high end. Well now I know why people love this brand. I ordered the primer and a foundation since. I have high hopes for these two. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

Worth the price
I was looking for a full coverage waterproof undereye concealer. I have REALLY dark undereye area, and this gives somewhat medium coverage, which was kind of disappointing. However, if you don't have severe undereye darkness, this is perfect. It is also completely waterproof. Now, I use this on other areas on my face, and it works perfectly in terms of covering blemishes and pores. Though it does not work for me for the eyes, it is definitely worth the price as an all-over concealer. — 4 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The Best!
I have a lot of concealers, from the most expensive to the drug store type and none of them do the job that Lancome's waterproof concealer does. It goes on smoothly, doesn't sink into creases and it lasts. Big tip - use it on your nose and you won't burn even in FL summer sun. I'm a sailor and it is kept on my boat. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Best
I currently use this is Porcelain I, and I love it. I have uneven skin tone (redness) and some old blemish scars on my face and I find this light formula covers them perfectly w/o having to use foundation (I'm active, so I hate using lots of makeup). This also lasts the day, which otherwise is nearly impossible for me since I always seem to be running around! Would highly recommend. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Review subject
I have been using this for many years (8?) I like it a lot. It covers better then anything else i've used in the past and it doesn't settle my in fine lines. I have fair skin so I use claire 2. I have pretty dark circles and thin skin so its important to me my concealer isn't heavy. I find this to be light and creamy and lasts a long time. I do have to touch up on long days, although with arbonne make up primer underneath it lasts a lot longer. I found it doesn't work as well on blemishes but still, its all I use =) — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Little goes a long way
I received this stuff in a gift w/ purchase bag via Nordstrom, and boy am i glad I have found it! This stuff works great, but keep in mind that a little bit goes a long way! I also notice that it works better when applied with a concealer brush as opposed to your fingers (like other concealers, ie-laura mercier). I now use this for my under eyes and laura merciers secret camaflogue to cover dark spots/blemishes. Give it a try, it lasts forever. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

good coverage
good coverage, long lasting but a bit too dry for the winter. perfect for the summer, it's waterproof so no worries when you sweat, it will be there! — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Don't understand the hype
I guess I'm the only one who HATES this concealer. I have very dark circles (thanks in part to using Latisse) and this does absolutely nothing to help hide them, It is very thin and not opaque enough to cover my purplish/blue shadows. Actually, this is my second time using this product. I bought it many years ago on the recommendation of a drugstore cosmetician. I remember not being impressed with it then. I guess this time around, all the positive reviews swayed me and I decided to give it another try. Awful, awful, awful. And way too expensive. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

OMG I've Been Saved By This Stuff
I have hereditary blue under my eyes and have had it all my life. Finally, at the age of 60 I have found something that works for me. I have 15 concealers at last count, high-end to drug store. Always looking for the right color or formula. Euureka ! This is the ONE that works beautifully under my hereditary blue circles. I am thrilled to pieces this morning bcause my eyes look better than they have in years. And honey, I have seriously tried every single thing on the market. So until I get my 60 yr. old eyes done in January - this will make me happy. Apply sparingly and blend with a good quality brush. It also did a great job around my nose. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Very good coverage
I use this along with the Lancome Tient Miracle Foundation and love that it covers my dark circles but doesn't get cakey. I usually accompany it with the Lancome presed powder just to set the concealer! I'm totally SOLD! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
