Clinique Eye Shader Brush Reviews

Clinique
Over the years I have tried many many clinique products and tools. However, I found this brush to be completely average. The hairs tended to stick and clump up together, which results in streaky and uneven applications. They do not do a good job of depositing the color of your eyeshadow. Definitely not the quality I would expect for how much they cost. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

CLINIQUE EYE SHADER BRUSH
I admit I bought this because I saw Pixiwoo do such cool looks with it, and at the same time it was on sale at Sephora, so I did not pay full price for it. Otherwise I would have said that it's too big to be of any use, maybe for catwalk shows not real life. This is big indeed (thumb size wide, no less) and fluffy. I like to use it to apply base skintone eye shadow on the lid and also for a very soft sheer deposit of darker shades, for a more dramatic look (like the crease color going all the way up to the eye brows, like in some fashion looks like this fall's Chanel). If you think that because it's big you will do your daily looks faster with it you will be disappointed. Because it's big and more of a blending brush all colors it deposit come out sheer-er so you need to spend more time to figure out what to do. It's decently soft, especially after you spot clean it with Clinique's Brush cleanser liquid. But I would rate it more suited for those who have time and mood to stay and play with their eye makeup because it's not an average blending brush (like 217 - not like that at all) it's more a backstage brush (I saw Dior has one even bigger and it's also an eye shadow brush) for certain effects. I love this brush, and I use it every day. It was my first high-end brush purchase a few years ago... and I still love it, after many more. I has never shed and has stood up to many washings. Plus, it is super soft. I will probably add more to my collection. This brush is fabulous and was very easy to use. The bristles are soft, yet have a firmness and it feels nice in my hand. It was wide enough to easily spread shadow over a good area of my lid, but also fit the width of the shadow duo color. I also didn't have to pick any stray bristles off my face, either. The quality and results are definitely worth the money. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Great brush to add to your collection
I have had this brush for about six months now. I do love it. I love Laura Geller brushes and used this at a friends house and had to have it. It is just so soft and fluffy yet still firm enough to have control. I like it most for covering the lid with a base color. I find it works best with powder shadows. The bristles are so soft and fluffy i don't reccomend using pigments or loose powder. The loose products just soak up into the brush and you dont have enough control to keep it from falling out every where. It is perfect for covering large areas like an eye shadow base. I do use it to shade the crease but find that it has a wide spread. If you want your crease to be shaded smaller i would suggest a smaller shader brush, It is almost impossible to get this brush to cover only small areas. Pros: It is soft and beautiful looking, full and fluffy, love the silver handle, It is a grea weight, fits great into an average make up bag as the handle is not to long, weight is not to heavy or flimsy, It covers large areas, washes well and great for shading larger creases. However ,it is a bit expensive, i got mine on QVC (LOVE LOVE LOVE QVC!) If you have small lids this may not be a good choice for you unless you are going to use it as a full coverage brush. — 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love these brushes
Clinique brushes are a great value. They don't fall apart and with care will last forever! The Eye Shader Brush is a must. The fluffy bristles are great for blending shades on your lid or for just adding a quick sweep of color — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Super quick
This brush is amazing at covering one's entire eyelid in one clean sweep. It's awesome! It's super soft and so easy to use whether you're going for a one-color look or multiple layers. This brush is also great for blending if you want a softer look. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Best Blender
I love this brush as a blender, especially when I do smokey eyes or more elaborate color schemes... I can apply my shadow just whee I want it, then blend with this brush, to achieve a perfectly blended lid. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
