  Great product for dry, cracked lips

  Okay, so I don't live in a dry cold climate. In fact, I live where it's summer all yr round but unfortunately, my lips are very prone to drying and cracking. I purchased this product in hopes of exfoliating some dead skin cells on my lips and healing up the painful cracks I get on them. Laura Mercier Lip Silk accomplishe...d exactly that and more. I apply the product nightly before going to bed and I've been doing this religiously for 2 wks now. At this very moment, my lips are healed, moisturized and I haven't experienced any cracking since. In fact, in just two days of using it, I've noticed a vast improvement in the condition of my lips. The result is smooth, healthy, supple lips. Because my lips look much healthier now, lip products such as lip gloss or lipstick look a lot better on. A must have for someone who is prone to experiencing dry, peeling or cracking lips.   great exfoliator

  This product is great- I put it on and it exfoliates my lips and moisturizes. My lips often get very dry when I sleep but when I put lip silk on, I wake up in the morning with moist lips and with the product still on! March 20, 2008, 12:54 pm

  Soft Kissable Lips

  Laura Mercier has really outdone her self now. This product is just simply amazing. It feels like silk on your lips and believe, your man will be wanting to kiss your lips all the time.   Warning: contains EMU OIL.

  Yeah, ok, so I haven't actually tried this product. But I don't plan on it, because I am a vegetarian and this product contains the oil from the fat of an emu, an animal. I don't care how effective this is or how silky smooth your lips are. Wow, it seems so archaic to be using this kind of thing. Makes me sad. December 22, 2009, 8:44 am

  I wish I did not like this so much-the price is not that high but somehow it still seems like a luxury. But I do like it-a lot. My lips are softer, moister and more conditioned than before-lipstick definetely goes on smoother and stays fresh longer.   I am addicted to lip balm, always seeking the best lip balm. This one is very good and simple to use, simply apply before going to bed, wake up with smooth soft, silky lips. If you skip a night, you definitely know it. I highly recommend for the winter months to ensure soft lips.
