Very good

I had this in "translucent" and I must say that I really liked the texture and the feel of it on my face. I actually used the whole thing, which doesn't happen very often with me when it comes to powders. The only thing that bothered me is that the colour was still a little too warm for me, and I couldn't find a better match for my skin. So when I went back I got the "translucent" shade again b...read moreut in the "mosaic" type powder formulation, and loved it! Even better than this one. So that's why I'm giving this one 8 stars... It was almost perfect. And by the way, that was about 8 years ago, so now I religiously use the mosaic kind in "translucent"... ;) What I liked about this powder was that it was very light, and allowed a very thin application, while still balancing out my complexion. It feels like it lets your skin breathe when you wear it, and you can retouch if you need too, and it won't look cakey. When it wasn't very hot it would last me all day though. And at the risk of repeating myself, I think that it's important to note that it really looks very natural on your face. Some of my friends would swear that I'm not wearing any powder or foundation when I had this on. This is the case with my "mosaic" type powder in "translucent" as well. If you are looking for a non-irritating, non-intrusive way to even out your complexion and don't need heavy coverage (as in MAC Studio Fix heavy) you will like this powder, because it will give you a natural overall finish. And I forgot to say that it's completely unscented, which is a very good news for those of us with sensitive skin.

Love This!

Love this! It is a bit expensive, but it is also lasting way longer than I had thought. I apply it over everything, foundation, blush, etc. as a finishing powder, leaving my face looking smooth and fresh.

Disappointing

I'm very dissatisfied with this powder. First off, the lightest shade they make is somehow STILL too dark for my skin. I'm not that white, am I? Secondly, it doesn't cover that well. Last, it doesn't stop shine for any amount of time. It actually has a slight metallic sheen to it, which I hate. This was way too pricey to be this bad.

Perfect for sensitive skin

For a long time I quit wearing make up. I was trapped in a cycle. Put on make up, get zits, put in make up to cover zits, and so on. I wanted to give mineral make up a shot. My first concern was coverage and this stuff does a great job of evening my skin tone. THE ONLY FOUNDATION I USE

I've been using this for a few years now & love it. I've tried other more expensive mineral powders that make me break out terribly because they contain Bismuth Oxychloride in them. This doesn't cause breakouts, covers well , controls shine, looks natural plus has SPF 16. The only thing Im not thrilled with is the compact itself- It's a little inconvenient & the mirror is underneath.

Love it

I will start off by saying it is a little too expensive. I did get it at target with a target coupon and got a gift card back to buying a certain amount in the beauty section so it was a decent deal. I love this powder. I am allergic to almost everything. t is very hard to find a makeup that will not set off a burning or a rosacea effect on my skin. I had researched for hours for a mineral veil or anything that would work and would not make my face burn or turn red. This is it! I am in love with this powder. It could have a little bit better coverage but I am satisfied.

Works with my skin woes!

I have acne-prone, combination, sensitive skin, topped with the fact that I don't like having a long makeup regimen in the mornings. my secret weapon

amygab1126, they're inconsistent sometimes with the quality. i've had a bad one once in a while but i've been using this for over 20 yr and it looks like airbrushing. i'm very very pale so i use transparent, transparent light (really pale) or creamy natural, which is paler than it looks. everyone comments on my skin and i tell them, i don't wake up like this!

Awesome!

I have combination skin that can be really oily in the T-zone and really dry on my cheeks & around my mouth, also some blemishes from time to time. Hard to find something that fits the bill for my skin. This product does just that. Its not super mattifying but not super dry either. Great coverage, good staying power. don't use it!

It looks fine in good lighting, but once you go outside our face looks like you're wearing a mask! It may be that I got a shade that was too light, but I think it was all of the minerals. The sunlight made my skin look flat and fake like a mask, and within 2 hours, it was already cracking and caking all over my face, especially near the corners of my mouth from smiling.
