    There are pros and cons

I recently purchased Honey Trap and Chocolate Whipstick. On the pro side, they smell fantastic, and they taste good, too! Unfortunately, the consistency is somewhat below par. When I dip my finger in, I get a big glob, more than I want, and I end up wiping away the excess. This product is too expensive to waste. If the consistency were improved upon, I would love this product.

    Lush lip balm

I've used Honey Trap and T-Tree Simplex, both are nice, Honey Trap smells and tastes good, but neither of them provided as much moisture to my lips as I would like. T-Tree Simplex became very dry in the little pot and difficult to get enough out to apply. In my opinion, they are not worth the price.

    Melts in your pocket

I have several different tins of lush lip balms. They are great for dry lips, I keep one by my bed and when i want really soft lips I apply at night and the next morning I still have lip balm on and soft lips. The only thing I don't like about the balms is the taste, when the balms melt on your lips you get the flavor in your mouth.

    Good but not great

I really like Lush's line of lip balms, that being said they're overpriced. While the balm works well, I find that it doesn't last long so I keep applying it.

    Yummy

I have Lip Lime which I think they may have discontinued. But, it is a decent balm and fairly nourishing. It is rather solid at room temperature, so it helps to carry it in your pocket for a few minutes to warm it up. If you don't like applying products with your finger, then it's probably not for you. I've tried on Honey Trap at the store and it does smell amazing.

    I Use It Every Night

Seriously. Honey Trap sits right next to my bed (along with Lemony Flutter) and is the last thing I do each night before I go to sleep. Keeps my lips smooth, soft, and flake-free. I will always have a tin of Honey Trap next to my bed. I also keep Lip Service in my bag, and use it when it's windy and cold. It seems to do an excellent job as a protectant.

Honey Trap is my favorite balm EVER!

Honey Trap is the absolute best, with Whipstick being a close second. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It smells great, has no wierd taste, makes my lips soft and lasts for hours upon hours. Wonderful and worth every penny.

    Honey Trap

I can't stop touching my lips! This is without a doubt the BEST lip balm I've ever used. It makes my lips cushiony and smooth, and the smell is soooo good (white chocolate and honey.... mmmm....) The little tin is annoying, but the product inside is beyond worth it.

Nice balms, though some are better than others.

I've used Lush balms on and off for the past 5 years and have tried several different types. Honey Trap is one of my favorites, one that I have used up several times and have repurchased. It's got a nice scent, is moisturizing and is in that nice happy medium range of being neither too firm nor too glossy. It's something I'm always glad to have in my makeup kit. I'm also rather fond of Lip Servi...read morece. This balm can be a bit difficult to use if it hasn't been warmed up a bit (keeping it in your pocket and letting your body heat warm it will do the trick) as the consistency of this can be pretty firm due to its cocoa butter content. This is incredibly moisturizing, good for seriously dry lips, but also good for dry patches elsewhere on the body. It doesn't seem to have much wax in it though so it feels like it "goes away" fairly quickly since it sinks it fairly well. That said, I've also tried Whipstick and Lite Lip balm and wasn't a fan of either. For a "chocolate" lipbalm, I thought Whipstick tasted terrible, the smell wasn't that great and the texture felt sort of grainy. Lite Lip was a little too light for me and there was something about the texture that felt off to me. Lastly, all of their balms come in tin pots which I'm not really crazy about. They dint up easily and I prefer my lip balms in tubes or sticks. Overall I feel Lush lip balms are worth checking out, but as there are several different formulas, don't be discouraged if the first one you try isn't for you.
