Love the idea....
But the quality is just a tiny bit lacking. I owned probably a dozen of these, but gave them away because I already have so many eyeshadows. Seriously, it's great that they have a magnetic palette with removable pans. It's environmentally friendly because of the reduced amount of packaging, and convenient because you can pick whatever eyeshadows you want in your palette, and rearrange them to your heart's content! They're pretty reasonably priced too. I have a plethera of these, I like the fact that I can change them out when I want to. It's like creating your own color wheel. Some of the colors like glitteratti, and crush are sheer (with a little sparkle). I personally prefer a more sheer color, it looks better with my skin undertones. I have colors like corsette, and plum, but those tend to make me look like I'm the crypt keeper, or I have insomnia. I have brown eyes, so those shades are supposed to compliment my eyse, but I have learned that the lighter (more natural) colors go with my yellow undertones. I also like nomadic, It's a great bronze hued, glimmer shadow. My go to shade in the summer time. I would have been disapointed if I got the shadow and realized that I had to buy the case separate, but I got the case as a gifty with my purchase. The price was great, and I figured I could always get my money back if the product did not meet my needs/wants. I also purchased them in a limited edition "stripe" shadow. It is 3 shadows in in one. I got them in plum-tone, and bluetone. The colors were great, but the colors all being in the same little container made it hard to select a color without getting another color on your eyeshadow brush. good to play with, some nice shades, no loss
i have glitterati, a true light silver that goes on as more of a wash of micro glitter, crush, a creamy pale orange with a high shimmer, corset, a deep blueblack with shimmer, peacock, a deep dark green with shimmer, plum velvet, a dark burgundy purple shade with shimmer, nomadic, the same as glitterati but with a gold finish, cake, a lovely pink that is reflective vs shimmery and flattering, and picadilly, a true dark purple with a matte finish. although picadilly was the only true matte shade several others were labeled as matte and were in fact very shimmery. glitterati is great as a glitter top coat over any other eyeshadows. they are not very blendable or esp. long lasting, but the price is fair. keep in mind you MUST purchase the little cases the shadows snap into b/c they dont come in a case at all, they come just like stila's shadows in the plastic bubble case.[+ if you were to order a mark shadow shade you were not impressed with, you can return it at full refund to your mark rep, so you have nothing to lose on the purchase.] — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

sheer and powdery.
The lighter colors seemed a little too sheer and powdery and chalky for me. If you want more color to show up, choose the darker colors with primer. Most colors look matte, even the ones not labeled matte. mix and match.
A lot of nice colors and textures to choose from. The applicator in the refillable compact isn't helpful so find your own applicators/brush. I want them all!
I love the fact that I can make my own double and quad eye palettes! I can't be the only one who has ever loved just one or two colors in a quad palette and never really used the others. Mark Custom Pick completely gets rid of unwanted colors. I love biscotti, apple, cake, nomad, and tiki. Perfect neutral colors for daytime. And there are NO shortages of dramatic colors. Corset is great for smokey eyes. Most of the colors are shimmers, the rest mattes. The shimmers are GOOD shimmers - not glittery or over the top sparkles. Just a bit of shimmer. Easy to blend, buildable coverage, really long lasting when used over primer and if you don't like a color, just return it or exchange it for another thru you rep. Good eyeshadow for a great price.
I have this in Minx and Java, as well as Tiki. They never crease and stay true to their colour throughout the day. It Works
This works pretty well. I apply this in the morning and I still have color on my eyelids by late afternoon. It has a nice light coverage and I can layer for a darker color for when I go out.
