I purchased the 3 step system after reading an article in a well known beauty mag in which a famous starlette said that with all of the hair coloring she has to do for movies, she believed this saved her hair. I used the products exclusively for several weeks, and the product actually seemed to make my hair worse. I finally stopped using all 3 products after my hair began breaking when I'd brush it. I did not really like this shampoo. While it is a gentler cleanser, it doesn't feel like it really cleans my scalp which is on the oily side. It also does not give my hair any noticeble volume or body. I have used the whole system of pure strength for fine hair and only like the close step, which i still use.
