I love them, but they aren't good for the environment

These are my favorite hand soaps. They foam just perfectly, and the bottle is by far the best foaming hand soap bottle I've used. They smell great too. But I don't purchase them anymore because the anti-bacterial agent, triclosan, is harmful to the environment when it goes out with the waste water. I wish BBW would make... a foaming hand soap that wasn't anti-bacterial. Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycereth-26, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Propylene Glycol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Xanthan Gum, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Yuzu Fruit Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Panthenol, Benzophenone-4, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, DMDM Hydantoin, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Orange 4, Green 5, Yellow 5, Blue 1. Love washing my hands with these...

We have these soaps in all our bathrooms and the kitchen. They have some great frangrances but are very strong so if you are sensitive to smells, you may want to avoid. The anitbacterial agent in these soaps is triclosan, and I have read studies that say the amount of this antibacterial agent in soaps is not enough to be re...ally effective. Oh well. I still like 'em. May 31, 2008, 2:48 pm

    Great smell, great soap

    by duckyone (6 reviews)
I love Bath and Body works soaps. The Gentle Foaming Hand Soap is my favorite because it doesn't bother the dry skin on my hands like other soaps do. Most of the scents smell heavenly. I especially love any apple scent and the Warm Vanilla Sugar. My husband even likes the soap- his favorite is Coconut Lime Verbena. The soap... may be more expensive than buying soap at a grocery store, but it is totally worth it for the divine scents and how gentle it is. Bath April 19, 2008, 9:34 am

    Make it public....

    by Maiden_Mizery (9 reviews)
brown sugar & fig is my favororite scent. This handsoap is a nice soap to use when cleaning my hands its so light wieght and foamy w/ its fresh scent not to mention it's anti-bactrial and doesn't overdry my hands... I think all restrooms in public place should have this product in there soap dispenseners to make handw...ashing a more enjoyable thing to do since public restrooms usually have cheap soap w/ horrible scents... I may have to start carrying this product in my purse can you make a portable size please!?!? =) October 28, 2007, 2:33 pm

    Great for Kids

    by rmgm12 (3 reviews)
We LOVE BBW Foaming Hand Soap as it is easy for little ones to get and use on their own. We especially like the kids variety (Grape-a-licious, Banana-rama-ding-dong, etc.) My girls LOVE to wash their hands now! October 25, 2007, 12:31 pm

I love the choice of scents they offer. It is very foamy and gentle. Leaves hands soft and clean. Down side is that it tends to run out faster than the gel handsoaps. September 24, 2008, 6:59 pm

    Best stuff for kids

    by sweetlash (21 reviews)
My son can wash his hands well with this stuff. It easily lathers for a good washing. It smells wonderful, but is a little more expensive. I buy it in stashes when it's on sale. I'd never pay full price for it. May 7, 2008, 4:08 pm

    These are absolutely the best

    by CarolSmith (3 reviews)
I've tried the Cucumber Melon and the Sea Island Cotten scents and can't wait to try some of the others. The foam is so gentle and creamy, you feel you are being pampered every time you wash your hands. This is a great incentive for more frequent handwashing. March 22, 2008, 11:06 pm

I have a huge supply of these soaps. They aren't available in Canada, so I stock up on every trip to the US. They are worth the trip! They come in so many different scents, you're sure to find one that you like February 20, 2008, 1:30 pm

I love the foaming hand soaps from Bath and Body Works. I have many of them in all different scents and use them all over the house. They smell great, clean your hands beautifully, and make them smell wonderful. One of the best hand soaps out there. December 19, 2007, 4:14 pm
