my sisters' signature scent
i see other reviewers calling this forgettable, and 'safe', but i think it depnds on whos wearing it. i bought this for one of my sisters a couple of years ago after we could no longer find her coty 'muguet' perfume anywhere. it had a few of the same notes as her former fragrance, and she was very pleased with the similarities. on her it smells to me like mosquito repellant, but she loves it, and i think its the 'lily of the valley' note i dont register well. her husband adores it and she uses the whole 'goddess' line, and gets compliments from other like minded ladies and men wherever she goes. its a mysterious scent that some people miss the point of, like me, but others cant get enough of, like my sis, so id say you should try it once and see which you are. im giving it a 10 because she loves it so much, it lasts forever on her and she wears it all year, every occasion. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

horrible
This fragrance smells very chemical-like. It's piercingly sour mixed with musky smell, with hint of vanilla or something soft, what a weird combination. I think most people will not be able to wear this well. Goddess for a Goddess
I really like this scent. It's not too loud and not too hidden either. I wouldn't wear this to club/party scene but it's great for work (I work at a hospital) or for a lay low kind of evening. I've even gotten compliments on it. A suttle fragrance
After seeing some of the other reviews on this website. I have to somewhat agree but also say that as a consumer of goddess and (rep) this product is more for someone who just wants a light fragrance to wear that won't mess with their allergies especially. As an allergy (severe) sufferer myself this is a good choice. As someone who wants a stronger more long lasting and exotic fragrance I suggest trying Far away, Imari seduction, Today or one of Avon's newest fragrances Tahitian Holiday. Also it's very important that when applying perfume not to rub but just dab the perfume in your selected locations. I learned that rubbing the perfume breaks up the combination particals of the perfume ingrediants which can cause the perfume to not be as strong or last as long. Strange huh? didn't like it

Merely Mortal

A nice "safe" fragrance
I bought this fragrance on special so I didn't really spend a lot. I spritz this on when I want something nice and unobtrusive. It doesn't stand out in my mind or fragrance cache as being anything unusual or fun. It's safe to wear to an interview -- light, springy, and soft.
