A Classic

"Shalimar" has been around far longer than I have. The heady, enticing scent is not for the faint of heart, and less is definitely more with this. All in all, I still like it.

classic and timeless

yes, it is pricey, but it is worth it. A classic scent that is timelsss. Wonderful smelling and lasts into the night.

Love this fragrance!

It's heavy and has some sweet vanilla, but it's not cloying or childish. Sexy! I can see why this has been on the market for 90+ years.

It's not for the young or faint of heart

Luckily for me, I am 33 and daring. At first (a few years ago) I was thinking, this is an old fragrance, hence, it is for old women. I was wrong. It IS an old fragrance, but it is still around because it is just fabulous. I'm not a fan of overly sweet, vanilla scents. This smelled so good on my friend so I bought it for myself. I stunk like a cheap whore. Must be bad for my type of skin.

Shalimar !! I Remember.

This perfume reminds me of a favorite aunt who bought it for me over the years. I still love it even though I now have to buy my own. It's a timeless and wonderful scent.

Shalimar is a Classic, it's wonderful, sensual

There is nothing like it, I've worn it since I was a teenager and nothing makes me feel as sexy and alive. And no other perfume draws as many compliments from men! If you get it, get the perfume in the bottle, not the spray and not the cologne. You only need two or three touches on the neck and wrists - the spray will waste too much. The cologne or eau de toillette has not lasting power. The perfume will last a long time. It's worth it!
