BROKE ME OUT!

I wanted to give this product a chance because my sister referred me to this one and she has flawless skin. However, this was no good for me. I used it for about 3 weeks. I wanted to believe it would clear my skin and minimize my pores along with the toner. It did the exact opposite. My bumps never went away, more emerged, and my skin eventually developed dry patches and got discolored. I guess the dyes, fragrances, and other chemicals were just too much. Sorry Neutrogena.

Great but too drying

I used this cleanser for about 2 years, because it seemed to keep my acne in a bit of control. I like that there are both alpha and beta hydroxy acids. The scrubbies seem to be gentle enough for daily use. However, I found it to be quite drying for the northern cali weather. Now, I am in southern california, so maybe I will give it a try again.

It's an okay product.

I used this over the couple a couple years ago and it didn't make a lot of difference to my pores.

ugh!

This cleanser feels good and seems to work but no matter how careful I was the little beads got into my eyes! I won't buy again - I've had oterh Neutrogena cleansers that work as well without the irritation.

Feels good

I don't know that it has shrunk my large pores, but it does make my skin feel silky when I'm rinsing it off.

Didn't work for me

I've been using this product for about 2 months now. My pores are still just as huge as they were before and I do not find that it cleanses or exfoliates any better than the other acne treatments, unless you have sensitive skin.

drying

this cleanser did clean up my blackheads & blemishes. which was great, but my skin got so dry i had to stop using it. & i only used it twice a week. so be careful if you have sensitive skin.

Recommended by A Derm

A few years ago my Dermatologist recommended this cleanser to me and it's been amazing. I had really problem skin and this really cleared up my skin and exfoliates great. My skin feels amazing after I use this. Although Pores CAN'T open and close this really cleans out your pores and makes my blackheads a lot less noticeable. This gets my skin ready for moisturizer. So-so.

I am a true and loyal user of Neutrogena products, and I must admit this product didn't WOW me as some of their other products do. I mean, I like it and it may work wonders for some, but I really didn't experience any great reactions to this wash. It felt and worked like every other cleanser I've tried and that are cheaper.

Second time not the charm

The first time I used this product, when it first came out, I tried the whole line and loved it. But I have a short product attention span and wandered off. Now I have it again, and my skin has been a disaster - lots of acne. The only thing I changed in my regimen was using the cleanser.
