half and half
I really liked that the color stayed on pretty well, but it dried up really quick. It was kinda a pain to keep applying the gloss and the more I did the more it seemed to feather. Okay, so I bought the Covergirl Outlast and I thought finally a lipcolor that will stay and not make my coffee cup rim look like it's bleeding - I applied the color and waited the 1 minute what seemed like forever then applied the gloss, the gloss did seem to make it feel smoother but after about two hours or so I felt like I had cookie crumbs on my lips and all I wanted to do was rub my lips with...read more a kleenex.. Growing up, I played in orchestras and many of the girls hated the fact that anything we put on our lips came right off. Which if you are playing a clarinet or oboe, getting lipstick all over your reed isn't a good idea. Warning though, that's all you get. The texture is thick and sticky and dried my lips out horribly. Something Fishy about this
I tried Cover Girl outlast and yes the color was pretty decent and it did last all day. I was impressed. You defiantly needed to use makeup remover to take the lip color off at the end of the day. But the this gloss with it smelled horrible. It smelled like I was rubbing fish scales on my lips. Just had an incredibly well fishy smell. I couldn't stand it! The longest lasting lipcolor I've ever used!
I got a free sample of this, and I was blown away by how long it lasts. The box says "semi-permanent" and they're not kidding. I can put this on in the morning, eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and most of the color is still on after all that! It's pretty hard to get it off if you buy the wrong color and decide you don't like it though. But I really, really like this stuff. Should Outlast all other Products!
I starting using this lip-color about 3 years ago and have since thrown away every signle lipstick that I had lying around. I don't like to fuss around with make-up so I put on my lip-color in the morning and it truly does last all day - even with eating greasy food! You definitely must wait for it to dry all the way before applying the gloass, but as the gloss goes faster than the color I use regular chapstick throughout the day and it doesn't mess up the color.
