Best bar soap

I only use Dove bar soap. I have very sensitive skin and it is the only bar soap that doesn't dry my skin. I even use it on my face. People are always remarking on how nice my skin is.

clears acne

my old skin regimen: st ives scrub and neutrogena pink grapefruit foaming scrub. washing face as much as as 3 times a day. my skin was oily but dry in some places and irritated, and I suffered from moderate acne. my new skin regimen: dove beauty bar twice a day, st. ives scrub once a day or every other day. My skin isn't oily or dry but completely balanced, soft, and completely free of acne. Hands down the best product I've ever used.

For natural faces...

I rarely wear make-up and I think that Dove is great for anybody who is natural. The soap has a creamy feel and it leaves my skin so smooth. My color is pink so I have the Pink Bar. It worked for me since '95 so Thank You Dove for all that you've done for girls who just wears lipgloss and Hot Pink nail polish. ;)

Stopped recurrent bladder infections

I spent the about 15 years with chronic bladder infections and was hospitalized twice for tests. When my best friends daughter started having them she mentioned it to the daughters dermatologist (even though not his area of expertise) and was told that the chemicals in most soaps can cause them since the bladder is so close to the surface. I started using the regular Dove Beauty Bar and I have not had an infection in 23 years. I love this product.

Trusted name

I have always been a fan of bar soaps because of the economical side of things. Dove works well with my dry/ sensitive/tempermental skin. My skin does not handle fancy soaps very well. It even works well on the face. I love the clean fresh scent and it is universal because even my husband will shower with it.

I believe in Dove

When I was 18 I went to the dermotologist for acne. He simply said to me, 'For the best results and beautiful skin when you are 50+ years old, use Dove every day'. I did. The acne came and went and I have religiously used Dove soap for 35 years. I switched to Sensitive Dove when it came out. Besides that I have used a clean base makeup that also had UV protection and moisturizer and today my skin ...read moreis soft and wrinkle-free. People often guess my age 10 years or more under my actual age of 53. Dove works.

gentle

gentle, doesn't strip my skin. This was recommend by my dermatologist. If you just want something with no frills, that's gentle enough for sensitive skin and makes your skin soft, then this is it.

Nothing better

I've been using this soap since I was a teenager and I'm 40 now. I have allergies and the scent does not bother them. I have a friend who was in a car accident and had been burned. He used this soap and the doctors were amazed at what this product did for his skin and how quickly he healed. Occasionally I will try a new product, but I always go back to this.

Good for when I'm low on cash

This is not a miracle product for me, but it does cleanse well and it doesn't strip my skin. However, I have used better, and I will continue to search for my Holy Grail.
