So much drama!
This mascara has a good & bad side. Pros: the volume it gives is INSANE. The color is a very deep glossy black. It holds curl and stays all day without smudging. I find that when I layer it over a lengthening mascara, my lashes are super full and dramatic--to the point of looking like fake lashes! Cons: it can be quite clumpy. The formula is wet and goopy, and the stopper leaves globs on the brush, which means globs on the lashes. But combing thru them usually does the trick. Good enough
We’ll start with the brush. This has the typical cylindrical brush with a slight taper at the end. It is somewhat difficult for me to get the outside and inside lashes, but it is do-able and does just fine on the lower lashes. This formula is very different than any mascara I’ve tried before. It is actually somewhat liquidy. It is nice though, because it is thin enough that it doesn’t clump and allows the brush to easily separate lashes. Also as a result of the viscosity of the mascara, it is not very lengthening or volumizing, but it holds a curl really well! This mascara is waterproof, and they weren’t kidding. I had a sad event a few hours after application, and even with the waterworks this mascara did not budge. One really different and nice thing about this mascara is that once it is on, it doesn’t feel like you are wearing mascara. It is super light weight, and if you touch your lashes they don’t feel much different than they normally do. This mascara gives just a nice natural look. Its perfect for going to the beach or the gym, or anywhere you want to go where you don’t want to look like you are wearing makeup. Tarte Mascara
I purchased this from QVC (double product offer). Although it does volumize and lengthen, I find it difficult to keep it from flaking. cruelty-free, but not streak-free
This $20 waterproof-all-natural-cruelty-free mascara makes me feel like a good person(& a sucker), but it is NOT waterproof. It says it's tear and sweat proof, and I have had it run on me in both cases. However, the wand gives great coverage and length and the product doesn't irritate my super-sensitive eyes. Lashes!
This is by far the best mascara I've every used, and I've tried many. I have short, sparse, straight blond lashes, and this mascara makes them stand out and lasts all day. Usually I curl them but it falls out after a few minutes. This mascara makes the curl last all day, and stands up to rubbing, eye drops, ten hours of taking children on public transportation, you name it. tarte mascara!!!
This is one of my favorite waterproof mascaras! Get really full, pretty lashes. It doesn't smudge or drip. I really love the brush- not too big but not too small. This is a great mascara that volumizes and lengthens my lashes. so cute... and it works!
Usually I agonize over the choices when choosing a new mascara, as it is my essential beauty product; however,i bought this on impulse ... the packaging is soo cute! I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it actually works really well.
