Made My Kids Skin Break Out!
Both of my teenage kids have thick hair and it is hard to find a shampoo that will get their hair clean and not cost me a fortune as teenagers can be wasteful. They were using this with the conditioner for about a month, and not realizing why, their acne got considerably worse around their hairlines and they both got dandruff. Thank goodness a stylist told me that Pantene Pro-V is known to cause breakouts! I changed their products right away and the acne went back down and the dandruff went away but it took about a month to recover from. Do not recommend
At first I thought this shampoo was ok (not great, just ok), but over time I noticed build up that was making my hair look dull and weighed it down a bit. Good Product.

okay but not great
I use this shampoo occasionally, but one draw back that I have found while using it is that if you don't mind your hair having static in it, then this would be great. please take my word for it
as a professional stylist, i feel like its my responsibility to let people know about this product. whenever i have a client who tells me their hair has been feeling dry, or dull, i ask them what they've been using, and almost always the answer is pantene. pantene is one of those products that seems to good to be true because it is. when you first start using it, your hair feels instantly softer and shinnier. this is because it contains ingredients that essentially coat the hair with a layer of film that temporarily disguises damage. over time, this "coatiing" gets thicker and thicker until eventually the hair becomes dull and waxy, lacking shine and seeming harder to get "clean". it's very hard to remove this buildup off thwe hair and the best way to do it is either with a clarifying shampoo or a vinegar wash. do yourself a favor and splurge for professional products to take care of your hair, your stylist can recommend the products that work best for you. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

the positives outweigh the negatives

Excellent Product
This product is one that I can use year round, my hair seem to get extra dry in the winter months, but with the use of the shampoo and its counter part,Pantene conditioner, the thought of changing to another product as usual is no more. wont love with out it
