Has Made A Such A Difference In My Skin!!
This product has cleared ALL of the blemishes and dark spots from my face. I had quite a fewspots from frequent once a month acne breakouts, but Neutrogena definitely came to the rescue for me.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful

Not My Favorite...
I used the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash for a long time and found my skin drying out. I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin and this made my oily spots more oily and my dry spots got really, really dry. Am switching back to this product!
I used this product when I was younger and had terrible acne and VERY oily skin and it didn't seem to do much. Well the problem isn't the cleanser, it's the acne--I've tried a gazillion cleansers and no cleanser alone will get rid of my acne. I need pills, topical creams, toner AND a good cleanser! But this cleanser is GREAT as a PART of an acne/oily skin skincare regimen (NOT for people who have an occasional zit or sensitive skin). It definitely cleanses, isn't too harsh or too creamy for my skin type (very oily, severe acne, not sensitive), and is a good value. REALLY IS dermatologist recommended

From too oily to too dry
I have oily skin, so my dermatologist recommended this stuff to me a couple years ago, but it made things worse. This product uses salicylic acid to combat oil, but it can also dry your skin out, which is what happened to me. My skin was flaky and tight feeling. I didn't use it consistently enough or long enough to know if it reduced my acne. One thing I found helped was applying non-comodogen...read moreic (non pore-clogging) lotion to my face after use of the acne-wash. Effective but watch what you use it with
I switched from biore to this stuff and never looked back. I haven't had a flare up in weeks! I use once a day because it is drying. Just be warned about Philosphy's mircodelivery peel pads. I'd been using the pads with the biore with no results. I switched to the this cleanser, used the pads, and received a full face chemical burn. For Certain Skintypes, it's a great product!
I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily but isn't excessively oily (and in many place is actually quite dry.) I use this at night only and it's not too harsh but I do feel very clean afterwards. My skin breaks out less and the break outs are less severe when I'm using this, than when I'm not. For that reason I give it high marks. It doesn't have much of a scent, good or bad. Staple in my cabinet

AMAZING
My skin isn't that bad, but once in a while I get some bumps. I love this stuff ! It smells amazing and makes your face silky smooth.
