I picked this up this month and wish I hadn't. I should have gotten the Dandelion or Geogia Peach from Benefit because I have fair skin and the dark side of this compact is very cheap looking- I even washed my face again, it was that bad. I felt like the weird girls in junior high who are wear make-up for the first time and have applied waaaaaay too much. I used the lighter side the next time and liked it much better, but thirty dollars for a product I will only use half of? I don't think so. Love Benefit's Dr Feelgood and Bad Gal Mascara and their product line also has some of the coolest packaging designs but I am not wearing the packaging I am wearing the product and maybe it is better for night looks; I wore it during the day only and the bronzer looked unnatural. This works quite well for a quick pick up my face auto tan? The price id fair also. The 3 downers I think are as follows?Be very careful if you should decide to wear any kind of white collared shirt, top, blouse? It does seem to end up some where on your collared shirt? Hard to get out? Tide?? YUP!!Seems that all of these HARD bronzers CRACK??? Mess! Its happened so many times? That's a big negative? Unless its NOT pressed? Loose is cool? After that? Its in your bag loose somewhere? Anyone ever have this happen yet??BET!! Otherwise its all cool? You look great?? Better than getting that sun damage?? Thanks!! December 9, 2007, 11:04 pm

When this product was released, I was ambivalent. I really has a tough time applying the product as Benefit intended. The brush just didn't lend itself to...applying makeup. With all of the boxed powders the first thing I do is TOSS the brush, very far away. A regular domed blush brush is a much better way to apply this product. Having discovered this, I instantly fell in love with the product. I simply sweep the bronzer side on like I would any other bronzer, on the cheeks, a swipe down the nose (my favorite), and a bit across the forehead and chin. Then I apply the highlighter, which I was ALL the time, even more than the bronzer, on top of the cheekbones. Talk about gorgeous! It makes skin GLOW. As a makeup artist, I use this product on every one of my brides. They love the way it plays up that wedding day glow. Aside from the atrocious brush, Benefit's 10 is a product that loves you back. This is a wonderful product. The bronzer and highlighter are side by side and that is just the start.
The brush is to use both at the same time. One wonders why this technique is not used more often.
You swipe both colors with the brush and brush on thus putting both colors in the exact place on your cheekbones where they should be. November 12, 2007, 2:27 pm

I saw this and thought it was a great idea. I love using it - totally easy toj apply and color is fabulous. It works well winter or summer and on many shades of skin. The little brush is just the right size and shape!
My ONLY issue is that, as an older woman, I have a few lines in the under eye area and the light highlighter portion of this fine product makes the lines more visible if I'm not careful in my application. October 25, 2007, 7:58 pm

This stuff is awesome. I always end up putting pink blush with my bronzer because straight up bronzer looks like crap on my pale skin. This is a total time saver and has the perfect blend of colors. I love Benefit\'s blushes, they are all really good. It seems like they are all universally flattering on everyone! I\'m gonna get me more of them!! December 21, 2007, 9:50 am

Okay, I absolutely LOVE this product. The thing that is so great about it is it can be used for several different things. The highlighter (the pink side) can be used to contour and shape the face. The bronzer makes you like you just returned from Mexico. If you use them together they create this beautiful color. I highly recommend this product! December 9, 2007, 8:05 am
