  This mineral make-up DOES have a fine consistancy, but the brush is not the right shape - too long - to buff the minerals in like you are supposed to. Colors were good, and the convenience was great - IF the brush had performed better! June 25, 2008, 12:16 pm

  The Stuff Inside Works!

  I had trouble using both of Jane's applicators, so I opened up the compartment and found that the product works like a charm. Just dip the brush in the powder, tap off the excess and swirl in on your face. It's a beautiful, light, long-lasting look. Product...10. Applicator...1 Total score: 5 May 29, 2008, 9:53 am

  i have to agree with some other reviews on this product. i thought it was just me but i couldn't tell if anything was coming out because there was no change on my face. yet when you use your hand it comes out. i couldn't get the hang of it so i returned it. May 16, 2008, 5:12 pm

  Great powder finish

  I love this powder, I also got it with a rebate which made it free. When I tried it at first I was thinking it would make a dull powdered look like others, but it is easier to control how much you use so you don't look like make-up has been caked on your face.   love the powder-hate the brush!

  When i finally gave up and pried the brush apart and took the powder out- i loved this product.It covers well and it is finely milled so i could even used it as concealer. January 30, 2008, 3:11 pm

  Didn't think it was that great

  I was expecting just what the label said, an airbrushed look....I couldn't even tell if it was coming out of the brush except by all the flying powder going everywhere but on my face. Thank goodness it came with a rebate for the price I paid, I didn't lose anything except the 41 cents for the stamp. December 4, 2007, 7:14 pm

  if you took off the bottom cap and dumped it in a bowl. The brush half is worthless though. Plus this caked a lot too, didn't come in many shades, and made me break out some. It didn't blend too well either. Though I have never used another mineral powder I'm sure there have to be better options. August 1, 2009, 8:22 pm

  Jane Be Pure Mineral Powder

  I have tried the other Jane MMU in the pot, and just like the pot type, this also oxidized on my very oily skin. The brush is crummy, I prefer a pot and use a NARS bronzer brush, but just like the potted form, instead of glowing, it had far too much sheen. The packaging is crummy, you can't tell if it is pumping through t...he container, and when it does, it just flies all over. The price isn't to spendy, Jane is known for some nice inexpensive products, but this went right back to the store. May 24, 2009, 3:58 am

  Love it!

  I bought this on sale because I love Bare Minerals so much. It's amazing. (Although, to be fair, I have in the loose powder form with no built in brush.) The color matches my skin better, covers better and looks more natural than Bare Minerals. I got more compliments wearing make up that is 1/6 the price. I'm never going ba...ck.
