Great Organic Shampoo

I am thrilled. I have been hunting for a shampoo and conditioner combo from a natural/organic brand for quite a while. I found that most either didn't feel like they cleaned my hair or, in most cases, just didn't moisturize and detangle well enough. After trying Avalon Organics, Aubrey, Nature's Gate and others I was about to give up when a friend reccommended I try Giovanni. The first couple days I thought it was okay, but not amazing. Maybe my hair just needed period to adjust from the lack of 'cones and stuff though. After a week, I realized my hair was soft and clean and doing great. I am ...11/12/2007

      Great product, great price!

      This is a great shampoo without sulfates, silicones or other things your hair doesn't need. I had been using Ojon Tawaka shampoo which smelled great and seemed to be very moisturizing - I then realized that it was just coating my hair. The Giovanni leaves my hair shiny and healthy looking without any coating or residue. ... I agree with the other reviewer that if you're used to using products with silicones this might take somewhat of an adjustment period. Overall, very good product at a great price.       decent enough but...

      I think this is a good product for my color-treated hair. Problem is, I feel like I had to use for shampoo and conditioner than usual for my hair to feel truly clean. I guess there isn't enough lather for it to cover all my hair with the usual amount I use. Good shampoo, but it feels like I'm wasting the entire bottle! June 11, 2008, 8:01 pm

      Great "laureth"-free shampoo

      It leaves my hair soft and shiny, and it smells great. And a shopping hint-- they carry it at Whole Foods, but I was just thrilled also to find it and their conditioner at Costco in Los Angeles, in a larger size (33.5oz) for about $9 each. June 7, 2008, 12:17 am

      hold the chemicals!

      I try to eat organically as much as possible. Just makes sense to me to try to cut back on toxic exposure from any source. Giovanni makes a quality shampoo--my hair is soft and shiny, slightly moisturized. December 11, 2007, 10:46 pm
