This has been a great shampoo for my colored hair. It doesn't turn it into straw nor does it weigh it down. Rather, it adds just the right amount moisture to make my hair look and feel soft and still allows it to build volume. This shampoo works just as well--and sometimes better--than pricey shampoos such as Paul Mitchell, Federick Fekkai, and Aveda.
